Vacuum sealed ammo

That's a great idea! I just got a vacuum packager for game meat. I think any gun I'm going on a hunt with or taking camping I will vacuum pack a small supply of just in case ammo. Mabey 10 rounds in a bag.

Try these bags, they are divided in the center so you can do two rows of cartridges at once. The divider is perforated so you can tear the two halves apart. I use them for snack sticks.

Ummm, welcome to 1970's Prepperland, guys.
Ever seen a Winchester 94 (with ammo) in a seal-a-meal bag?

Knew someone a while ago looking into long term on site ammo storage in vacuum sealed pickle jars. His plan was to have jars of pistol, rifle, and shot gun ammo basically walled up and forgotten until needed.

What the OP showed was basically a home brewed version of those 1980s German 7.62 NATO battle packs.

I LIKE it. Might asked for a vacumm sucker for Christmas. I can add jerky, OTC pain killers and other snacks with ammo. Not joking. Just gave me ideas. Can suck down a bunch of .22RF to put in a hollow stock.
now that's funny. i'd get a lot of laughs if i showed up to matches and every 20 rnd of ammo had a stick of jerky or something in it

those are the ones i'm using

My experience with vacuum sealed packages is they are fragile. One bump, the seal is gone and all you have is a plastic bag.
yeah mine too. been thinking about that. i took a corner too fast yesterday and 6 packs slid off the passenger seat into the floor. 3 broke their seal, but the holes were small enough i couldn't find them. no ammo escaped. i don't think that will be an issue in the pack as i plan to put them in the sleeve that was designed for water bladders or a laptop. even if they do break their seal, it's still ok if they rattle around a bit.
