Ok, Gilbertsguns has the Vepr rifle in 223. Not the AK like Vepr, but the "sporting looking one", with the thumbhole stock.
Here is a question. According to what I have red, Bulgarian 223 mags used to work in a VEPR II rifle (The one that Robarms used to sell). Have anyone tried to use Bulgarian 223 mags in the current Vepr rifle? If so, what were the results? Was there a need to install a new follower or did it work outright?
Please, Help!!!

Thank you very much for your advice and responces.

If they are in the same shape as the Saiga, you'll probably need the lugs milled so that the magazine can get all the way up to where it would be in proper alignment.

I'm not sure if the new VEPR is being imported with Saiga style mags, if it was the case, you'd also need a feedramp.

Email atlanticfirearms and they can describe the new version, since they also sell an already, presumably converted VEPR...
