I'm watching "King of the Hill" on Fox. Dale was trying to shoot some balloons that were carrying Bill away. Afterwards he was scratching his head with the revolver and had his finger on the trigger!:what:

Another example of Hollywood gun ignorance.

Seriously this is about the 100th time I've seen mistakes on the television or in the movies.

King of the hill and the Simpsons have been pro-gun
for the most part. Maybe the Korean animation studio has something to do with it.

If you get a chance to watch the Simpsons look at the cash registers at the quickie mart and the comic book shop.
The display sometimes reads: NRA4EVER

King of the hill had an episode where Hank and bobby entered a
father son marksmanship contest. However they do go back and forth on poking fun at gunnies.

South Park takes every segment of society to the extreme
including Ned and Jimbo hunting bunny rabbits with full auto
and Bambi with a LAW rocket.

They do however give equal time bashing Hollyweird, Barbara )(Mega)striesand Janet Reno, Al Gore and of course Saddam living in a domestic situation in hell with Satan.

Not ignorance in this case...diliberate. It's part of Dale's character. Remember when he lost the presidency of the gun club 'cause he had a negligent discharge?

KOTH is pretty pro gun...but Dale's a bonehead.
:D

I saw that, and it looked to be done on purpose, in tune with Dale's character. I mean, the guy was shooting at balloons in a crowded neighborhood, with Bill (?) hanging a few feet below the balloons. And he missed every shot... so I don't think they were taking the event too seriously. :p

That was a great episode. Bobby comes home disgusted with his shooting, and tells Hank he'll never pick up a gun a again. When Hank tells Peggy what Bobby said, he becomes upset and Peggy trys to smooth it over and calm him down. Finally, Hank can't stand the pain anymore and blurts out "But Peg, guns are what holds this family together!" :D

My wife still doesn't know why I think that show is so funny. geegee
