VT Commission Heavily Biased

Today's Washington Post has the following article where one of the members of the Commission, the former head of the State Police has stated:

""We don't plan to argue the Second Amendment, but we are certainly going to look at the issues that are there under current law," Massengill said. "If we see something that obviously needs a legislative fix, we will be making that recommendation to the governor."'

Translation, We will recomend more unlawful gun control.


Here is the prediction for the final results of the Commission:

1) More Campus Police.
2) Install Cameras.
3) Implement Quicker alert notice to Students regardless of Initial Finding of Campus Police when a shooting has occured.
4) Screen Students for Mental Health Issues on Application to School.
5) Establish Procedure to get Students into required Mental Health treatment.
5) Strengthen Current mental Health laws to Make it harder to obtain firearms.
6) Strengthen Current gun laws to make it harder for law abbiding citizens to get guns and ban all firearms on campus even for non students (Currently allowed).



I just saved the State of Virginia a lot of money. Why do we need a Commission to tell us what Time Kaine is going to do?

You forgot:
- Ban Handguns everywhere
- Ban Hi capacity magazines everywhere
- Ban deadly hollowpoint ammunition
- Bigger locks on doors in class rooms
- Limit gun purchases to one a year (because obviously one a month ain't working out)
- Implant all student with a computer chip that will shut down all brain motor functions in an emergency thereby rendering the campus safe
