Waco~Rules of Engagement

I see that this Saturday, MPLX channel will be showing "Waco~Rules of Engagement." For those of you with cable access, check for showing times. I have heard much about this documentary and was tempted to buy the program...but no need now. If you have ever had questions about the killings there, you might want to catch this one as it apparently goes into great detail on the siege. I would be interested in comments here after the showing...I'll bump the thread then.

Seen the documentary, it is quite disturbing the lengths that the govt will go. Koresch (spelling is probably wrong) may have been a little ecentric but I dont believe that the govt has a right t omurder people based on religious convictions. The feds had plenty of time to arrest him without incident when he left Mt. Carmel for supplies, they chose not to, to make a major score (in thier opinions). the way the ATF agents were acting, standing on the tanks in full military gear like they just took a german pillbox was sickening. After Mt. Carmel burned to the ground the raised the ATF flag on a flagpole to show how proud they were of killing children. Also near the end of the film they show overhead thermal imaging of Mt Carmel when the fire started, There was an expert on who had showed that there was gunfire going into the building when people were trying to get out. Also the ATF held the fire dept back for their safety (WFD), as I said I didnt condone Koresch and his beliefs but it is quite disturbing what the powerful can do to the weak. This film will really make you think if we are truly free or not.

Navy, this documentry shows exactly that, and much more. It is very damning against the government's case.

My favorite part is when the FLIR expert is describing how the flashes behind the bldg are consistent with gunfire and the Gov't counter-argument is that the flashes are 'sunlight glinting off glass and debris'. Even though FLIR doesn't record in the visible spectrum...but apparently that's nothing but the 'DNA evidence in the OJ trial', as it were, so why explain it any further.

Does anyone not think the local Sheriff couldn't have driven up with ONE deputy and handled things BEFORE the attack? He had done it before and Wacco Koresh had allowed them to inspect compound AND remove his (people) who had criminal warrents without a fuss. Heck he OFFERED to allow ATF to INSPECT his firearms BEFORE the raid.
Lets see call ahead and get a tour or set up a team and get to play commando and have YOUR raid on national TV to PROVE why you need more funding. Hard call.
They knew he was a stubbern person and if cornered his control over sheep would be stronger. (wow take a masters degree to figure that one out) So they attack.

They couldn't have done it RAMBO style if they did it the way they should have.........They didn't have real proof of anything wrong in the first place, just the word of 2 guys that got kicked out with a grudge........Janet Reno killed 82 people and got away with it, the *****..........

This is a great film. Far more reality here than in anything Oliver Stone or Michael Moore ever produced. I bought a copy but at least watch it.

I used to sell FLIR for Government use. I have personally used several different setups mounted on fixed wing and rotor aircraft, plus a handhled portable unit. I was astonished to hear the sunlight reflection argument. Can the people of this country be that easily takin in?

If the Feds realy wanted to take this man into custody it could have been done when he went on his jog outside the compound. Also they would not have notified the media and the Justice Deparment would not have code named the operation "Show Time"
