Did and search and didn't see this posted for this year, yet, so...

What did you / will you get for Buy-A-Gun Day (April 15)? Here's a brief run down if you don't know what it is

http://cowboyblob.blogspot.com/

Just to get things started, I consider anything I buy +/- 1 month around BAG Day to count. Here's what I've acquired in that timeframe.

  • Inland M1 Carbine (couldn't wait for the CMP)
  • MN M38 (to go with his other Russian and Finnish brothers)
  • CZ-82 ('cause it was too good of a deal)
  • DSA SA58 Para ('cause it rocks)

How about you?

Last year I got a Cetme with stanag mounted scope. This year I plan on getting a Walther P99 AS in .40 depending on the how much of my money the govt. lets me have back.

April Fools Day;
Easter sometimes;
Bicycle Day;
Opening Day of Trout season;
and now buy a firearm day?!?!?!?!

Flipping cool.

I need a...
um...
ahhh...
le'sssee...
a 357 revolver.
686. 4" bbl stainless. Pachmayr.

April 15 is buy a gun day eh, I guess that explains alot

It's my birthday:neener: ! All I got(well paid for and now awaiting) was a DSA FAL w/19" barrel and scope mount. But in the future(maybe X-mas) I hope to get a PARA FAL and another AK or Bushmaster lower with retractable stock...

Still 2 Many Choices!?

ironic as hell, but i setup a buy-a-gun day for this month amongst about 10 of my friends, half of whom will be purchasing their first firearm. funny running across this post...

p.s. after a year, i got my card carrying-hilary clinton loving-ban all firearms to save one life, to buy a firearm: an AK47. and he cant get enough.

Didn't know there was such a thing. Learn somethin' new everyday :D . In that case, i guess the Mosin sniper i picked up a week ago today qualifies.

I bought a Norinco SKS (original spike bayonet still attached) with an Advanced Technology folding stock for under $200. I am Sooooo Happy. It took me some time to get a Norinco just 'cus that's what I wanted.

As far as the rest of the tax return being burned, well, the list is too long. Maybe an AK or Marlin 1894 in .357? I guess I need to set slips of paper with all my gun wishes on a dartboard, close my eyes and throw the dart. What it hits is what I buy.

hmm, buy a gun on tax day. I guess I just found the excuse I need to get that S&W 1076 I've been longing for.;)

Well, I couldn't control the exact shipping date, but FedEx will be delivering a Garand from CMP to my doorstep this morning! And the brown truck will be arriving with an AR parts kit today so I can finish building my A2. Gonna be a good day.

I don't give any credence to "BAG Day" (at least on April 15th), as its something initially promoted by the immovable and irreverent egotist, Kim du Toit. I've had him and his wife initiate open verbal threats and general hostility towards me, so I want nothing to do with them or "their" ideas.

Now, July 9th, I'll consider: http://www.lewrockwell.com/e-cobb/e-cobb8.html

I need help!

I want a reliable (with cheap ammo) semi-auto .22lr pistol and I think the Rugers are ugly as sin. What is the most reliable .22 semi-auto available for under $400?

Or will I have to settle for a Ruger :uhoh:

RangerVA,

I just shot my new Browning Buckmark for the first time. Went through 3 boxes of the cheap American Eagle without a hitch. I like it. Paid $275 I think.
