Comp Nor,

Its one word please, and either all caps or lowercase(preferably caps). :D;)

I've got I think about 1,000 rounds of Blazer Brass, so its possible some could be as you describe. But so far I haven't seen it. Interesting.

I'd get some, but a local deal on 9mm FMJ with an overstocked individual just took care of my needs for some time to come: 16.7¢ a round, which is about $8.35 a box, and no tax or shipping on several cases. $8.85 is what it would have been with state tax

It wasn't that long ago that the .45 Blazer Brass was $9.68 a box. Then it went up to $13.68. There's one WalMart in the area where it's $11.50. Don't ask me why. I don't shoot my .45 much (due to cost) but I did buy 4 boxes a few weeks ago.

Yeah I still have a case of .45 blazer brass for that from W.M. Wasn't that long ago 9mm blazer at Academy was $3.96!

:banghead:

blazer brass 9mm.
local shop $16.99.
midway $13.29 + shipping.
wally world. $8.97 +48 cents tax and no money for gas 'cause i get my groceries there.

no savings?:scrutiny:

M203- craig's $7.54 savings look pretty good to me. Do you always pay that much more to support your favorite "local shop"? Unfortunately, my "local shops" only sell firearms a full MSRP +shipping to get them to the shop! Kinda makes me think "greedy or gouging"

My point exactly.

There's a really neat hole in the wall, been there since 1919 and owned and run by the same family, nice scruffy old guys, etc gun shop here in town...but their prices are fricking ridiculous. Four and a half years ago when I could get Wolf .45 ACP for $7.50 at MCSports and $8.50 at Gander Mountain the local guys wanted $11...haven't checked their prices lately but I know they were asking $14 for a box of Wolf .45 almost three years ago.

one of my local ones is the same way. there's no way i'm paying $31.00 + tax for an ar mag i can get shipped to me for $13.57 including shipping.

i'll support the local guy most of the time, but i'm not getting raped to keep him in business.

Hey, I just checked out Midway on the 5 boxes of 230gr. .45 Blazer Brass. I could have ordered from them for a very reasonable $136.60 instead of spending $74.73 at WallyWorld...a difference of $61.87. Now, that sounds a lot worse than it really is...so let's break it down. Estimated shipping time from Midway is 7 days, according to their shipping calculator. If you do the math, you only pay $8.84 a day to wait on the Midway order. If you buy it at WallyWorld, you are forced to take your ammo home that day and go through the hassle of carrying the bag or pushing a cart approximately 60 yards to your car. Yep, looks like Midway might be the way to go here guys.

Damn, knew I was getting screwed somehow!

I just called my local WalMart in Plano Texas & they lowered 9mm Blazer Brass from $8.99 to $8.57 per box of 50. Guess I'll have to take advantage.

Only caliber left in stock in Fargo, ND as of the afternoon of 19NOV was .40S&W. Didn't catch the price on it.

I wonder why WalMart in Arizona charges so much more than WalMart in other states???

Having bought ammo at Wal-Mart in all five states this year, I can say that 9mm Winchester White box is ~19 bucks and tax in AZ, GA, CO, OH, and ND.
