Been sorta looking at the Walther PK380 and see the usual "I Luv Em" and "I Hate Em" posts.

I can live with needing a tool for takedown; Galloway Pecision has a low-cost fix for getting the recoil rod and spring back into the gun easily; and the one I'm looking at is relatively inexpensive (under $280, with tool, mags, case, paperwork, etc.)

So what have actual users have to say about them. I've got a Shield 9mm EZ and could get the .380 version; but I have a Walther PK22 that's similar to the .380 and like the "family" idea. (Plus the Shield is more spendier.)

I might carry it; but am more likely to carry my SW99c in .40, Smith CS9 or CS45, Sig P250sc in .40, or Beretta 9mm PX4c. So it's more for the range I'm thinking, but ya never know.

And, if you could, what to watch for? I've been reading the Walther forum on it so I have that perspective but would like to hear from anyone who has any suggestions, insights, etc.
