If you HAVE to choose and money is no object I would go for the XDM with the extra features.

Either way you can't go wrong, both are great guns.

I'm a new shooter, but after many hours of research and shooting an XD .40, XD9, and like guns, I think I'm leaning towards an XDm

Get six XD's, that way if you don't like one then you use the other one and so on.

Get the XDM, I've had a XD and went to the XDM and have nothing but praise for the XDM.
Can't go wrong with all the extra features!

The M is better in every way except price, if you're willing to pay it(I would be), then it would be the one to get.

xdm.... i love my xdm 9mm....and my xd 9mm to

A local guy had a new XD-M 9mm and needed some money. For once I had the money he needed, so I picked up the gun for $500.00. He had put less than 200 rounds through it, and it shoots like a dream. It's my 6th XD, and I've never had a lick of trouble with any of them.
