Finland's German allies during WWII captured several thousand M91/30s from the Soviets, and many of these were then sold/given to Finland. I have been told that these rifles may have both German (waffenampt) and Finnish (SA) acceptance marks on them. Anyone ever seen these?
It is a quite common practice for the few who reenact Finnish to use M91/30s in place of the more common M28 or M39. I had done Finnish in the late 90s and am thinking about getting back into it, but I wanted to have a more 'authentic' Finn M91/30.
