Wanting to buy a higher end firearm

Have you tried a High Point! wrapped in Luxurious $100 bills and a 40oz ole English grips!
Years ago, a cousin bought three cases of steel euro nine. He also purchased a High Point to run it through. And run it did. We put all three cases through it in a couple months time. Without a single issue. Only stopping to rest our wrists. The hottest nine I’ve ever shot.
Machine gun stuff or something, hence the disposable pistola. Yet, I think he still has it. It doesn’t see day much anymore.;)

I wouldn’t want to be caught dead with a HighPoint.
But I certainly wouldn’t mind being seen alive with one!:D

I find it so funny, how people poo poo the stuff at the more inexpensive end of things. Everything from high point to lee dies to kia cars. It is great to make you feel great tearing down the cheap stuff.

Problem is like high point, kia, or lee, the stuff just flat works, yes it will not be the most refined stuff out there, but it is not any more likely to do you harm over anything else.

If you have a highpoint yea they are a bit bulky, a bit clunky, a bit chunky, none of that means it is "bad". Bad will hurt you, and this stuff is not it.

For the record I don't own any high point products, but I can tell you I would buy one of their little carbines long before I would buy Rugers.

I just don’t see anyone dumping on the low end stuff here.

We’re all discussing what is and what to look for and why in higher end things.

In fact, I saw some of us marvel that we no longer live in the era of Rohms and Ravens, and other actually dangerous firearms.

And others prove their high dollar customs are really just the same as any other firearm and use them that way.

Are we reading the same thread?

And honestly, with no slight to the OP, he didn’t really purchase all that high on the ladder. To which we all approved, myself included.

We just aren’t as divisive around here as other places.:D

I personally like low end stuff and I would love to be caught with a High Point and a pocket full of Lee Dies.
