WASR ? What are they?

You will pay under $400 for a WASR high capacity with threaded barrel/flash hider/muzzle brake, sling, magazines, cleaning kit, and side mount optics rail. It's a great deal and they are functionally as reliable as any other AK. Accuracy will not be as good as those AK's with closer tolerances but you should be able to hit a piece of 8.5 x 11" paper at 100 yards.

You get get much higher quality "true hi cap" AK's for $100 over the price of a WASR.

Edit: If you want an AK but desire to step up some in quality without breaking the bank, look at the Yugoslavian M-series guns and the Hungarian AMD-65.

I'll 2nd that...My MAD-65 impressed me thoroughly when I first shot it. Straight shooter, nice tight groups @ 100m with irons standing.
 
another thing my Romanian has is the side scope mount,do the WASR come with that?I should just go inspect it but its buried in the safe.
