I must second ArchAngel.
The beautiful, rugged Nineteen Eleven.
Chambered in every conceivable cartridge, from the lovely Double Duce to the hot Ten, from the ancient Nine to the venerable Fourth Five Auto, and every thing in between. Even a Fifty (G.I.) will fit!
(But really, Browning needs to get in gear on the Thirty Two Auto Baby Browning...)
The stark ruggedness of a Government model will catch your attention and the smooth class of an Alchemy Custom will draw you right into the mirror finish. But her glass-like trigger and impeccable range manners will treat you like no other.
Silly smooth and icicle crisp. A trigger for the ages. Verily "the" trigger all other pistols are measured against.
She will fall into your hand like a child. Rushing to it and filling it perfectly. Hugging your grasp.
An extension of your self.
Point shooting with the Nineteen Eleven is sub-conscious. Almost preordained. She knows where to hit.
And hit she does! With twice the weight of a Nine. Because shooting twice is silly. Unless of couse you like the speed games. A faster, softer shooter there never was!
As far as games go, I believe Bullseye was invented for her. More accuracy can be cut out of her, than can be built into a lesser pistol. And there are many...
The grace of a real Lady, the style of a runway model and WarHorse durability. From trenches to the ball room floor, she keeps perfect pace.
And if you happen to lose count on the way to eight, she will happily beat your quarry to death for you, have you the physique to do it.
And look gorgeous the whole while.
But, yeah, Glocks are nice, too. I guess...
Next, I will espouse my admiration for the Ruger MK series.
