The most goregous of the bunch is a factory nickel Browning BDA; but I carry
a KEL-TEC P3AT .380~!
a KEL-TEC P3AT .380~!
The P-3AT and the LCP are both DAO and have almost exactly the same firing mechanisms and both have hammer driven strikers.Well I like the kel-tec over the lcp, it is a little smaller, and is a dao, if it were to get dropped there is no stricker to hit the ground. ruger has told us that they fixed the problem. but I like the hammer on a kel-tec. If the ruger went boom before it may go boom again.
I never bash any guns with the exception of AMTs, and I can't help myself in that case.
give me your opinions on the best 380's for carry(ie. price, concealment, quality etc). I value your opinions-so let me have it.
sidheshooter, since we are walking the same path, maybe you will be kind enough to tell me the next gun to be avoided. It's just costing too much the way I'm going.........
Sorry, I think I had them mixed up. You're right.. PPK then Sig. I remember now because after I got "bit" by the PPK once, I never shot it again. I liked the Sig, but someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse..Sig P230 got too heavy to carry and you moved to a PPK? Maybe we are talking completely different guns, but in my research I found the P232 weights in at 16.8 oz, and the PPK/s at 22.4 oz, both without mags. Is the P230 a lot heavier than the P232, or the PPK/s a lot heavier than a PPK? I can't imagine a P232 being too heavy to carry, but i'm a big guy.
Anyway, I see .380 ammo all ove the place in KC now. Its not always in stock, but if you look around a little you can always find it finally.
"While I only have 175 rounds through it, so far I'm impressed with the Diamondback DB380"
The mag release is flush and just about impossible to accidentally activate.does the mag realease painfully jab your trigger finger?
