What 9mm to get for my wife ?

I leave a Browning Hi-Power for my wife to use at home. I personally carry a Glock but I believe this should be used by more experienced shooters. The BHP is single action so the trigger reach and pull are manageable for her. There is also a safety that she can use to put the gun in condition one. I can leave the chamber loaded and she can just pull the hammer down safely because there is a hammer safety. Also the grip is not as large as most double stack 9mms.

After much time and her input, of all the guns I have my wife liked my 2" K frames the best. We made them the house guns and that's the one she wants to shoot when we go to the range together.

Recently I finally got off my butt picked up a Sig P225 that I have been meaning to buy for the last 13 years.

She handled it once. I had to go out and find another one for her.

I did the same for my wifea while back. She shot a BUNCH of diferent weapons and settles on the Glock 19. Fits her perfect and she can shoot it!!.

Get one that fits her

All our postulating won't guarantee she'll like the pistol. However, have her take a look at the Sig P230. It's relatively small. My wife is small and she picked a P232, similar, but in .380.
