What Ammo Do You Carry in Your J-Frame?

Does everybody take advantage of +P capability or is overpenetration a possibility?

Massad Ayoob mentioned a factory load that was designed specifically for 2" barrels but I fail to recall what it was.

Hornady 125 GR HP/XTP standard pressure loads in the j frames that are not rated +P.

I don't think you need to worry about over penetration with a good defensive load.

I wouldnt worry much about overpenetration even with a +P round. It could happen but you are far more likely to miss in the first place in a combat situation than hit someone CoM and have the bullet travel right through them. In my 9mm pistols I always carry +P for defense. Most are either cor bon DPX or doubletap 124gr gold dots.
