I've found a Pietta made LeMat for sale locally.
Seller is telling me it about 7-8yrs old. Never fired but it has been turned.
Cavalry model.
In the box.

What is a fair value?

Around 1000-1200 is what I've been seeing. You might go on GunBroker and search for similar items and see what the actual selling price ended up being. They don't come around often.

What would be interesting would be a cartridge conversion cylinder for a LeMat. (Such a gun figured prominently in the HBO series WestWorld.) The central shotgun barrel would have to remain percussion or else there would be problems with the NFA.

I had posted a WTB on another forum last year, surprisingly I got an offer a few months later. Apparently unfired in the box, shipped was a few dollars under the list price at EMF. The LeMat has been temporarily out of stock for the last umpteen years.
I fired it this morning. Results: Load off gun.
25 grains of 3F is about max with a lubed wad. Use 451 round balls. The gun is big, unwieldy and will take some getting use to cocking with one hand. That spur on the trigger guard is useful for adding back up to the thumb.
Accuracy was mediocre but I’m blaming old eyes and an unfamiliarity with the gun. It will get better.
Didn’t try the shot tube. Need to get the proper cushion and over powder wads. I’m thinking wax slugs might be fun.
BTW: The original purchase was through Cabelas as the box indicated.
Afterthought. The gun is a Gorgeous piece of antiquity. This one is the Cavalry model.

Definitely load off the gun. The loading lever is the Achilles heel of the LeMat. Most of the ones I've seen for sale either have it broken or removed.
Congrats on a great score!
