I'll start it off:

1) I'm thankful for living in a "shall issue" CCW state
2) my father's and grandfather's service in the US Army, and the attitudes I inherited from them
3) living just seven miles from my gun club, which has 24/7/365 indoor access
4) the firearms and SD free advice I get from my PD and former PD friends
5) beginning handloading this summer!
6) John M. Browning designs
7) never in 20 years of CCW having to shoot my firearms in anger or self-defense

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Being allowed to harvest and consume wild game. Its just the two of us for Thanksgiving. We're having a venison roast in a red wine sauce, homemade baked beans, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.Next Monday I'm going hunting for deer on private property with crop damage. In many countrys this would not be possible.

small things

due to ancestors possession of brains, ordinance, the will to use them and a long term plan I live in USA
have ordinance and don't have to deal with the English crown, the Spanish crown or any other inbread collection of putzes

plus we get to fire our putzes on some sort of scheduled basis

Re 2A, I am thankful to be an American, not European or other restrictive nations.
I'm frustrated, but OK here in CA.
I have a ccw and it is actually pretty unrestricted compared to many states.

Regarding "firearms/Sec. Amendment":

Most of what we now enjoy is due to the dedicated work of the NRA and its supporters.

There is no other organization with the clout to Tell politicians to uphold the Sec. Amendment.
If there is a different organization with similar clout, please state its name.
