What are your favorites??

I can't comment on other 9mm because I don't have enough time with them but the 2 9mm pistols I own were chosen for very specific reasons.

#1 Beretta 92A1. Low barrel profile and barrel doesn't cant when the slide moves back. That and a nearly 5 inch barrel makes it the easiest pistol I've ever put on target and more so, the easiest pistol I've ever used to re-acquire the target after the first shot has been made.

#2 Hahr PM9. I finally decided that the KelTec P3AT 380 just wasn't enough gun to have my life depend on it but the Kahr 9 was just enough. In Las Vegas it is darned near impossible to wear enough clothes to conceal a full-sized pistol. That and I hate having an anchor strapped to me all day.

Based on the guns that I actually shoot, I would say, the SIG 225 is my favorite shooter. The combination of weight, size, grip ergonomics, trigger and sights make it the best.
For my house gun, I go with a BERETTA 92D with a light mounted underneath. Larger magazine capacity and light make it my favorite for home defense.
For, ccw, I would say my WALTHER P99 is my favorite. It shoots very well and the grip size and shape are just wonderful.

I also like the SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD Sub Compact very much.

Just my experience,

Jim

Sound like some great guns!

Mind if I ask what the problems with the CZ's were?

Best wishes.

My first CZ was a 75B Duo-Tone in .40 S&W that I just didn't shoot well. The second CZ was a used 9mm Compact that I also didn't shoot very well. But I traded this for my Gen3 Glock 17 that is still one of my favorites. But the CZ 75B I have now is fantastic!
