What autoloader do you carry?

If I'm carrying a semi-auto then it's most likely my Kahr CM9. When I use to have a big backyard to take care of, with no line of sight to the front of the house (pie shaped lot), I took my KelTec P3AT along with me stowed away in a front pant's pocket.

Did your Kahr come with a ridiculously stiff recoil spring? If so, did it ever loosen up? Approximately after how many rounds, assuming it did?

My T9 Elite is stiff as hell lol…like by far the stiffest slide I’ve felt on any modern firearm. It’s not a huge issue. I can rack it just fine. It’s just annoying as ****.

When I carry an Autoloader it's my Glock 27 in 40 Smith & Wesson for which I also have a Lone Wolf Conversion Barrel in 9MM. That makes it easier to find ammo as .40 S&M is sometimes hard to find here and more expensive. The Lone Wolf Barrel is a great shooter and has operated flawlessly in the Model27.

My carry gun is now my S&W EZ 9. It works as said, easy to load, to rack the slide and keep up with loading magazines.

It shoots very well and I'm surprised at how little recoil there is in this light weight pistols.

Call me dumb but why would you carry something worth more than $ 120??? What if you need to use it?
Done, you're dumb.
I have holsters that cost more than that price point. Not to mention EDC pocket knives that cost considerably more too.

What did your cell phone cost you?

Even if it cost 100x your price point. It would be worth every cent paid if I had to use it and I am still above ground.

my life is certainly worth more than a dinner out with the family.

No, not really.

I remember doing a side by side comparison with the CM9 and a Beretta BU9 Nano at the local gun emporium. Racking the slides on both guns I thought the Nano was a bit stiffer than the CM9. The CM9 was very manageable and also had a more smoother trigger pull. Matter of fact I liked this particular Kahr so much that I bought the one out of the display case!
