Last weel I put a deposit on a Ruger 10/22 for my son. I was planning on paying it off yesterday but I had to work late. Today I had no car to get to the gun shop and they are closed tomorrow. I'll have to settle for next week -but the thought was there.

In answer to the above question, I learned about Buy A Gun day from the web site of Kim Du Toit. Think it was his idea along with National Ammo Day/Week. The man has lots of good ideas, lots of info on guns and, pretty darned good taste in women. He also expresses all of this on his site in blogs and pictures.

I went to 3 gun stores and then to the range with my dad. And two meals with mom and dad, and a trip to the nursing home to visit an aunt, etc.
No new guns....... yet.

When I called him 2 hours ago he informed me that he's going back to the local shop tomorrow to take another look at the 28ga O/U we both liked. I was just sort of fooling around when I started handing him little shotguns to look at.

The suspense is killing me.
