What do all these threads have in common?

Oh crap.

Of course every pistol will have positive and negative threads on it, in every forum out there. There are fans and haters of everything. But the following threads have one particular make and model in common (they all came back to me upon feeding the search engine this pistol):

So what is the common element of the following threads?

“What’s the most regrettable firearm you’ve ever purchased”
“Worst gun you’ve owned”
“List the guns that did not live up to your expectations”
“Least favorite gun”
“Name your biggest POS handguns”
“Whose had a defective firearm out of the box”
“What’s the most ‘displeased with’ gun you’ve ever bought”


And it’s not the typical bashed manufacturers either- jennings, hipoint, llama etc.

What make and model are you referring to?
I look at it as a question that popped in somebody's head or they had a problem and wanted to know what others have run into

But of coure a search would turn up that result here. Everyone knows THR is just full of Glock haters!

BTW, for me the answer to all of those questions would be Kimber series II hands down. But isn't that why personal opinions are called "personal"? You go right on thinking Glocks aren't good pistols, that just leaves more of them for the rest of us.

What a troll thread. I was never a Glock fan, but now I realize the simplicity and well they shoot. I'm a 1911 fan but Glocks are closing in....

LOL. That's hillarious everyone assumed it was glock.

No, I was seriously looking for thoughts on the Walther P22. Of course I found a number of praise threads, but those were generally P22 specific. All the threads I listed which came back from the search are open ended to any pistol. It was just the first time I've seen so many of that type come back for one particular model.

Eh, it's beside the point now anyways. Handled one up at the gunshow (houston GRB) today- didn't realize the grip was so tiny. (btw, picked up a hiviz for my GLOCK! 34 while I was there lol)

(f4t9r- yes, all those were threads which people started having NO particular pistol in mind. My point was, the common pistol among them was the p22. Meaning, when all those questions were asked, at least one person's response in each thread was the p22)
