.380 awesome: what do you load in the walther and why?



When I finally get to PA I have two choices

1) Glock 26 and change between 10 rd and 15 rd mag when able to loaded with Ranger-T ( yet to decide 124+p or 147)

2) when required a LCP but I'm undecided on FMJ or Hollowpoint.

Well....i just load some 95 gr. JHP's in it i don't see a need to go on a search for some special loads when i can just go by walmart and get some magtech,Remington,winchester, ammo

I have no pics but I carry a Kahr PM 40 with a slide-on half holster.

Summer carry - Smith & Wesson 642-1 in a Mika or Uncle Mike's pocket holster.


Winter carry - Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum in a Dual Carry Concealed holster from DM Bullard.

I like the Kel-Tec p32 and the fobus holster. They are small,light, and easy to conceal.

1. Nighthawk Custom T3 in a FIST IWB
2. CZ 75PCR in a HBE DC Special IWB
3. S&W 3913 in an Alessi Talon IWB

Mine is a Rock Island Compact 1911, in .45, with Crimson Trace Lasergrips. I carry it in a Beltster. Should be getting my Milt Sparks VMII around Christmastime or New Years.

I rotate through my stock (I know many people consider this to be unwise) like a high school girl does her shoes. But today I carried this guy. This is not my photo, but I have the same grips on the same pistol. I carry it in a Fist leather IWB.

Primary carry is Dan Wesson Commander Bob Tail...love this pistol.

I may carry my sig 229 .40 s&w reverse two tone if I feel I need a little more capacity or the DA SA method.



Both are TOTALLY reliable and more accurate than I am.

Right now my open/concealed carry is a Delta Elite.



When concealed I use a Milt Sparks VM2 or more recently a Milt Sparks I-BAK.

When I open carry I use the same gun in a Serpa Blackhawk.



But soon, very soon, I will be switching over to a S&W 610 carried in a holster made by Michael Taurisano. I will carry open and concealed with the same holster. It is his Reinforced high ride with a thumb break and a tension screw. http://www.taurisholsters.com/reinhighride.cfm
