I am considering retiring the Colt as she is getting a considerable amount of holster wear and is showing the abuse. Thinking about a Charter Bulldog or a Ruger SP in her stead.
Well, as much as I like real firearms (for handguns, that means "it starts with a '4' in caliber) I can't always conceal a full sized auto like a 1911 or a full sized N-frame. So..... figuring that even a small gun is better than no gun, I carry my Russian Mak in .380 more than anything else. I've been surprised over the years how durable, reliable, and even how accurate it is. Paired with premium ammo, it's better than just leaving a .45 at home.
642 in left side front pocket all the time. Colt pocket9 at 3:30 IWB most of the time. Another 642 in an outside coat pocket when needed. All ride in Kramer Leather.
..here in germany this is still on the legal side, since it is not a backlock folder. Very slim knife from "Herbertz" ...darn!! i just cut myself with it in the finger....no kiddin!
(...if i had to pack and could i´d go for a j-frame snubbie i guess.)
My Kimber Stainless II with 230 gr Remington Golden Sabers. 8+1, with 2 spare 8 round magazines. Sometimes my Sig P226 with 12+1 rounds of 180 gr Winchester SXTs and 2 spare mags. Kimber is in a Galco Summer Comfort holster and the Sig rides in a De Santis tuckable holster. Will post pics when my Kimber is back from the gunshop (getting some nightsights installed).
