What do you have in the hopper? In other words, what handgun are you going to have modified or what nice pistol are you going to buy?

Me? Marianne Carniak of the Accurizer Gunshop is working on my Bulgie Mak. What has she done and what is still waiting to be done? Marianne has installed Novak colt 380 Trijicon night sights. She is going to send the pistol to Dick Williams' Gunshop in Saginaw for checkering of the front strap on the grips. Dick Williams can machine checker at a reasonable price and the checkering will be 30 lpi.

When the Bulgie Mak comes back from Dick Williams it will then visit Virgil Tripp. While in Tejas it will be hard chromed.

I hope the Bulgie Mak turns out as well as the Frog (E9) and the Bull Frog (K40).

Again, tell us what you have in the hopper?

Regards,

Richard:D

I have a P225 and P245 that I want to put trijicons on. I would also like to have them finished in NP3 someday.

I've got $500 saved up so far and I'm gonna' keep adding to it every week until I have enough saved up for either a Kahr PM9 or.... dare I mention it by name...a Rohrbaugh R-9. :what:

Money's tight right now due to car repairs, but I'm keeping my eye out for a long-barrelled Smith M657. A Ruger Blackhawk in .41 is a bit farther down the list, along with a Ruger OU in 28 gauge.

I'm a hair's breadth away from ordering a Springfield PX9109L and all the associated gear. I'm WAY psyched.

Gimme gimme gimme :)

as soon as I find some un wanted 44 mag dan wesson bbls I'll get tem put on my mod 29 ala Jim Cirrillo

With $360 in my "gun fund" I figure I'm just past halfway to my next purchase. Unless something else gets my attention in the next few weeks I have a Sig P220 in the hopper.

A Ruger New Model Blackhawk .45 "convertible" is at top of the "want list". I might have to sell a spare Makarov tho for it to be acceptable with The Wife ... ;) In the meantime, an extended slide release sure seems like a "need" for the Glock 36 ...

This is in handguns, but the item in my hopper is a custom National Match M1A, built from the receiver up.

Krieger Stainless 1-10 Barrel, Bead Blasted
Smith Enterprises Muzzle Brake
USGI Parts (TRW)
McMillan Stock

I've got the receiver and most of the parts... if only I wasn't saving for a house, it would all be done. I actually WAY exceeded my 'gun budget' over the past year, so I'm slowing down things a bit.

Model 65 Smith

It has been back to S&W for a heavy three inch barrel, and the lockwork has been converted to DAO, the hammer is a factory bobbed hammer. Timing and all the lockwork tuned up and made right. All new wolfe springs.

Hogue LamoCamo grips, and a polish job. The gun likes the 140 grain Speer hand loads with Unique powder.

Now, if I could only decide on the finish!! I am still leaning towards a Walter Birdsong job, with olive drab frame and black cylinder. Brushed hard chrome is the other option. Until I decide, I am enjoying shooting it often at the local range.

New sights for my Sistema 1911, Chip McCormick drop in rear and a new stake-in front

New WGRS peep sight for my new 1894c Marlin 357

Moonclips for my 940

find a very in-expensive S&W mod 58 hopfully P&R'd as a shooter.

build lightweight AR, Ace skeleton stock, ergo grip, DPMS lo-pro upper, ?????? lightweight barrel, ????? lower, M4 fore-end or free float aluminum, ????? holo sight

Send OM single six to Ruger get 22lr cylinder installed and have a gunsmith bore one cyl to 22mag. you gotta carry an empty chamber so why not have the mag available.

Anybody want a 22mag cyl swap for a 22lr.

Need leather for 4" 586. 1911, 3" 60, 4" tracker,

this is gonna take awhile.

Am building {slowly!} a Glock 22 with a KKM barrel &
a Caspian slide cut for the Wilson adj. rear sight &
JP trigger.

A new Bar-Sto barrel installed on my S&W 4586 and a set of Novak "Extreme Duty" adjustable sights with tritium inserts as soon as they're available.

Extra fancy curly maple stock and fore end, hand checkered and finished using the old chromium trioxide and heat stain that brings out the figure and gives that beautiful deep chestnut color that you see on fine old Kentucky rifles for my Savage 99F in .308.

I'm also in the process of modifying one of my Uberti 1858 Remington cap & ball revolvers. Shortening the barrel to 5" and redoing the loading lever, sights, etc to fit. Also recutting the rear sight groove from "v" to square. Slow going , as it's been hard to get access to the machine tools at work for a "government job" lately.

Thinking about sending my 625 back to S&W for a Hi-Viz front /"V" notch rear sight set. Got to to shoot a guy's 317 "Kit Gun" with those on it the other day at the club and liked them a lot. Hope they've got them for N- frames.

Recently got my Makarov slide back from WV with the new XS sights on it. When the action gets sorted out the way I want it, it's off to Accurate Plating for matte hard chrome.

I'll also be working a bunch of overtime to pay for it all.

Most likely I'll pick up a single action with fixed sights in 22LR. I need a plinking gun. My target auto just doesn't cycle CB caps. Using the CBcaps are quiet and draws less attention from nearby neighbors. Some times I just need to take a walk in the woods and plink at a can or block of wood. Therapeutic stress relief ... I wonder if my insurance would pay for it? LOL
