What do you think of these flattened primers?

Maybe it's me but it looks like some of the hotter loads have fp bounce/more than 1 fp hit.

Mag primers will show less primer flattening than the std ones.

I've had 2 loads where everything else is exact same. 5gr. WIN 231 under 158gr.LSWC in 357 cases. The CCI SPPs were fine, but using Federal Small Pistol Magnum Primers, they had some flattening. The only exception I can think of is, the magnum primers created more pressure, thus the flattening.

Federal primers are that much softer, used std and not mag? The reason some use them in tuned actions where the hammer spring was reduced.
