My father owns a new model Ruger Blackhawk in 41. Rem Mag, ( it will be going to me when I'm 18, sp that's why I'm asking thi) and it has the Packmayr presentation grips currently installed. And they just don't feel right in my hands. Does Houge, or anybody else for that matter, make a rubber, finger grooved grip set for the new model Ruger Blackhawk? If anybody knows, I would LOVE to know. Thanks! :D

Do you happen to know what model number for that Hogue grip is? If so, I'd be eternally indebted to you :D

Single action revolver + rubber baby bumpers = yick. LoL

I can certainly see the need for some for recoil but visually, they're just wrong. Check the used grips bin at your local shops and see how these different grips feel in your hand.

Putting rubbers on a Blackhawk ought to be against the law!

There are literally dozens of grip makers that use fine wood.
Just check the trading area on this site, or check on eBay.

Just my 2¢

I like Houge and Packmayr grips cause they are comfortable, and fill my hand better (I'm 6'2"' and have giant dutch hands with clubs for fingers) It's not an end all thing to put rubber grips on a Ruger Blackhawk. Nice wood grips are just one screw away my friend :D

I've got CTC laser grips on mine and they work pretty good.

Waste not want not. :)

Sorry but I don't remember the model # but there is only one for the Blackhawk. Houge actually says it will not fit with the internal lock but with some effort I made it work.

I put these on my "Dragon Lady" in 41 Magnum. The gentleman that made them had about a dozen species of wood to choose from, price was $70 shipped. I originally ordered a different set, but one side didn't fit. I contacted him about it and he apololgized, and requested to fix or exchange them. One week later these beauties show up! You can see a few of what he has, and get contact info here.

HARV6 Nice grips. I got the pair that 41mag had listed by yours. I guess they could be brothers. Not the best pictiure in the world but it is the only ones I got of them. The ones above are also from 41mag

These are from another great grip maker Private Schultz Grips.
