What gun does the woman in your life have?

My wife has an SP-101 .357 in a Bladetech IWB - We both love this gun, so we'll probably be getting another in the future. Besides it's a great gun for the money.
She also likes to shoot my Secuity-Six that Grandpa left me.

My wife really cracks me up - Instead of a SHTF thing, she's got a "cat theif scenario" (CHTF?) happening and what she'd do to the theif! Where she'd stuff or hide the cats etc. It's really too funny to hear her talk about it- :what:

Wife #2 has adopted most of the safes' contents.

She favors some over others, though. Especially the Colt AR-15, Winchester 9422, Remington 521T, Ruger 10/22, Luger P-08, S&W PPC conversion, S&W 52, S&W 36, and Browning Buckmark.

She's not real fond of the Ruger #1S in .45-70, unless I make blackpowder cast bullet loads for her. :D

Still leaves me with plenty for myself, come range day.

I don't have a current woman in my life, but many of the ones I've had relationships with in the past have taken some armamants away from the relationships.

I've equippd now-exs with snub 38s, 4" 357s, 1911s in 45acp, Remington 870s, Winchester 44magnum lever guns, straight razors, pepperspray, a .223 AK, and a big honking knife that in her hands looked like a sword (she was 4'8").

Hey that can be my new tag line...date Phil for a while and get a gun.:what:

What I have and what I like are two different things :D

With that said, right now I only have a NAA Guardian .380. Soon, I will be getting a Colt govt. model series 70 1911 :D Maybe an AK after that if Illannoy doesn't ban them. Ahhh the possibilities :D

The wife's carry piece is either a Glock 26 or a Taurus snubbie .357. She also has her own SAR 1, Marlin Mdl 60, Remington 1148 12 guage, and complete confidence in every gun in the safe. Her next wants are a 1911 officers model and a nice bolt rifle in .308.

God, I love my wife.:D

of handguns only ...

I have and love a Glock 26. I also have an NAA mini in .22 magnum, which is just too durn cute not to love. I love my buddy's .22 short even better, but I admit that neither of the minis counts as a real gun, and I would carry neither for personal defense unless I truly had no other choice.

Other women I know carry a blue Taurus snubby (she carries it, loves it, thinks it's pretty, but hates to shoot it), a Kahr PM9, and a Kel-Tec P-32. Actually, I know a couple of women who have and love the Kel-Tecs, and while I don't consider them adequate for personal defense I note that they are considerably better than bare hands.

My experience has been that most women I know are really attracted to visually pleasing guns -- the matte blue snubby, a bright blue Kel-Tec, the undeniably-cute little Tomcats. Sure, it's a practical tool. But does it look good, too?

My wife most definately likes guns that look good along with function.

Her soon to be carry piece is a Taurus 851, shrouded hammer, adjustable sights. She was going to carry a Tomcat, but it's more pretty than easy to shoot. And she has a P99 and P22, I wanted her to go ahead and carry the P99, but she thinks it's too big (for a purse!)

My lover's guns

Susan is a devotee of the 1911 design! Her favorites are her Kimber Custom Eclipse, and her Colt Combat Commander. Her pet though is her Walther PPK/S.

If my Kimber Custom Compact had bar-dot night sights I'd likely see it quickly migrate to her side of the bed!

She's very proficient with everything else, but in her book, nothing is as perfect as the 1911 design.

:D

i have a stainless Beretta 92FS Brigadier and a Ruger P90. adore both. of my husbands collection, a Baby Desert Eagle in 9mm that i love.

She has a S&W Model 14, I'm not sure if I have anything anymore. My big framed handguns used to safe because she has small hands, but recently she keep picking up my M29 MG.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

:( what if your gun or car is the only woman in your life???? oh well. Sadly the personality of all my weapons and cars are not that of a woman I dont think. The mosin-nagant is the closest to a lady...and shes a warbuddy so id say shes far from a super model :D

The girlfriend packs a Glock 17 or a High Standard Sentinel 3inch in 22mag. AT home she has her own Remington 1100 20g, a Colt AR-15 carbine (mine) several S&W model 10's and my Charter 44 Bulldog.

my woman's favorite, and carry gun, is a Colt DS. she has a wash tub full of others and shoots them all frequently, but, the DS is her go everywhere. she likes all handguns except my .44 SRH, however, she has her own .44 SBH and likes shooting Heavy loads in it. go figure. ps: she loads her own. great gal, great pal. purty too.

My wife of greater than 20 years really does not like guns, unlike myself and every man in her own family. I have only been able to get her to go to the shooting range once in the past year and she had that "pulling my tooth" expression on her face all the time.

She is a good wife and a great mother to our 4 children, but she just doesn't want to understand the need for guns. Yesterday, though, while she was driving, I got the opportunity to read her a few stories from the latest Robert Waters book. Instead of opening her eyes, she simply said that I had an obsession that perhaps I would one day get over.

Although my wife of 27 years doesn't shoot nearly as much as she once did, she has a CCW permit and carries and practices to keep her hand in.

She has a custom built (Caspian) Compact Commander (commander slide on officers' frame) that she shoots better than any of the full size 1911s she used to own. Her carry gun (purse) is a Kimber Ultra Carry with XS Sight Systems Big Dot 24/7s. Her vehicle gun is a Kimber Compact Covert, also with 24/7 Big Dots. She has an SP-1 Car 15 that she loves to shoot on those rare occasions when I can get her to go rifle shooting.

My girlfriend, Meredith, has become an enthusiastic pistol and shotgun shooter. She just bought her own first pistol. After trying my guns -- Buckmark through 1911 -- she settled on a CZ75B. She shoots it quite well, and I've almost got her convinced to try IDPA. We shot the Springfield Armory "Action Pistol Challenge" at the NRA show in Orlando, and she absolutely loved it.

Not too bad for a woman who, three years ago, was an anti-gun, big-government, Clinton-loving liberal. :D

I couldn't agree with you more Pax... Older daughter has a NAA .22 mag and younger daughter has a .22 short that are a definite kick in the pants to shoot...

I also like my mini .38 and am accurate enough to have won the "bottle blasting contest" in MI last year... :D

CZ 75 PCR, successor to her CZ 75 compact. Great little gun and the ergonomics are such that we both shoot it will despite wide variance in hand size.
