What gun does the woman in your life have?

S&W 952, Beretta neos, she hardly lets me shoot my new Kimber Team Match. I walk away for a minute and she has it already. She also thinks she owns my M66. She used to hate my Walther P99, but now likes it. The only gun I have all to myself is my Glock 22 (she just plain hates it), too bad I like it the least too!

None, actually.

She's never asked, and I've never pushed it on her. In her case, that's fine. She's had intermittant problems over the years that 15mg of Haldol a day keeps at bay.

My wife has two guns of her own, a Taurus 731UL in .32H&R Magnum, and a Beretta Tomcat in .32ACP. Physical limitations preclude the use of anything bigger as a carry gun, but I am looking into a Kahr P9 for her.

My wife carries a Browning High Power. I put a set of melted nite sights on it, an extended slide release and safety. Smoothed up the trigger also. Don't piss her off, the first time she shot it she skipped a soda can until it was nothing but shreds at 30 yards.
It fits her hand perfectly and we all know that the HP points like an extention of your hand. She now has her CCW and carries it with her everywhere. One less female victim.

G19. She also loves shooting the Garand, and after our inaugural skeet/trap shooting experience yesterday, she has politely asked for an 1100 12 Ga. Twist my arm dear...

My girl has just claimed my single six and 9422 as "hers". I'm so happy to have her shooting with me that i havent objected that much yet :D

I started the ex with a .22, then graduated to a .357 Python. Add in an autoloader in the form of a .40 Glock M22, which was eventually sold. Last I knew she still had the Python and a Smith M5904.

Her second hubby died young of diabetes, now she's hooked up with a deputy, and they volunteer for search and rescue together. I wish her well.:)

Last time my wife and I went shooting, she still liked her Walther P-1 the best but she shot my Ruger Speed Six very well. She hates the look of revolvers but she was surprised how well she could hit with it. I was too, she was dead on with that .357.

Mrs. Giant has a S&W J frame model 60 357 magnum in stainless and a Glock 17 9mm. She also has a 4 inch barrel S&W .22 revolver in stainless and a Thompson Center Classic .22 scoped. She likes her .22 rifle, but will not shoot my Garand, says it is too big! She likes my Mossberg model 500 in 20 gauge with a 18 inch barrel and has shot it with good results.

Mrs. Giant married within her species, her dad was an NRA rifle and pistol instructor. Lots of guns in the house as a child, was properly instructed on gun handling safety. I don't recall her or anyone in the family robbing banks, killing folks indiscriminately or committing gun mayhem of any kind. Guess all those far left leaning gun grabber control freaks are wrong -- One of these days, soon those left leaners are going to lean a little too far and fall flat on their face! Already seen a few left leaners drop by the wayside, looks like its starting to go bad for them. Mrs. Giant and I are doing all we can to tip more of them over. Left leaner tipping is great fun and every right thinking person should try it at least once.

My wife has a Star Model B Super. She likes it because it is so thin, she has very small hands and it's one of the few handguns she really feels fit her hands well. Good single-stack 9mm's are hard to find. I'm considering getting her a Kahr for our anniversary.

Oracle,
If you get her a Kahr, I bet she will love it. I have a Star B and I really like the feel of the slimmer grip but the Kahr fits my hand like no other. I had the all steel 9mm and think it is a winner if you don't mind the extra weight. It is a mild shooter just like the Star B so you don't have to worry about recoil if she is sensitive to it.

My wife likes the Hi Power- says the Speed Six .38 kicks too much:confused: . Fine with me; justifies the Beretta 92 (too big for her) and the 6" Security Six (if you don't like the .38, don't try THIS).

My sweetie's favorite

Well my better half's favorite is a Walther PPK, but she also has a Taurus 357... she teases me about my single action saying "There have been some advances in firearms in the 20th Century, ya know."

Well she can and does from time to time shoot just about anything in our collection but there are a couple that are pretty much recognized as her guns, the ones that fit her and she likes.

SP101 .357 snubby.
Walther P99 9mm I miss that gun:(
Inland M1 Carbine, what a fun little gun.
Bushy AR 15 14.5inch with AK muzzle brake.

Very soon she will have a Benelli Nova Special Purpose 18.5inch with Ghostrings for her shotgun. She loves our friend Dave's and wants one.

She has had her eye on MY M1 Garand as of late but that one is mine I tell you all mine........my precious.......my very own............Cslingers precious.......my gun to rule them all................

But I digress.

For her CHL gun she carries a Colt Government Model Pocketlite 380. For deer hunting a customized Mauser chambered in 250-3000. This Mauser is one accurate and beautiful gun!

After taking her to the range yesterday and trying a variety of guns she chose a Glock 34 as her favorite. Looks like it's time for me to buy another 9mm range gun! darn ;)
