I've got a NAA .22 Mag
CZ PCR
Nighthawk Enforcer (1911) on order
Ruger SP101
Having just moved to America from New Jersey I'd like to get something tomorrow, just because I can. What am I missing, if anything?
Thanks and I'm sure that I'll soon start getting used to freedom.

Speaking from behind enemy lines . . . . I'd say you need a "hi-cap" 9mm or 40 S&W . . . . the more rounds over 15 the better.

Send me a picture so I can cry over it . . . .

Sounds like you need a Glock 17 with multiple 17 round mags and a 33 round mag too! It's lots of fun to hit the metal plate so many times in between mag changes!

either a Ruger blackhawk or a USFA peacemaker clone in 45 colt

truely american in AMERICA

and you need a matt dillon holster too

seriously these are fun guns

and reasonable and useful

or else a no ban AR

I would swear on my 480 ruger super blackhawk revolver if you have the hands to handle the recoil. it's not one to carry but to take out to the range it is great.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards a Kahr P9 or K9 (or maybe a Sig P225/228, 2005 (.308) Remington 700 Classic (probably with a 6x42 scope) and a Rock River Arms CAR A2 (not all at once). I hope I don't put an eye out with the collapsable stock.

I know this is the handgun section, but it sounds like you need an AK47 with a 75-round drum magazine...

One of those "smart guns" and a ban mag that you can look at everyday and be reminded how lucky you are to have made it over the wall.

You need to get a larger wheel gun
S&W 19/13/66/65
Ruger Gp100 series (will go with your sp101)
or even some thing in a large bore
Ruger blackhawk for hunting or a S&W 625 or 629 for range work.

I would search high and low for (what is for some) a hard-to-find sidearm called a Glock because they are so few and far between. The search and excitement of actually finding one will add to your purchasing pleasure.

Oh, and I might also add that they each have unique character and history.

Oh, also forgot to add that they just don't make 'em like that anymore.

If your search turns up nothing with the Glock name on it, you could always settle for something like this:

Or you could get a Bushmaster AR-15 EBR just for pure kicks...

Three hundred American dollars will get you a Rock Island Armory 1911 in .45ACP. I highly recommend it. A great shooting pistol.

Welcome back to The World.

Since regaining your freedom(Congrats) you have allot of choices to make.I see space for a Glock or other Compac in 40 or 45 cal. One of the Big Bore Ruger revolvers would fit in nicely.Take you time and find something that will fill your needs and likes.

Ruger Redhawk

I know is is the hangun area but I would suggest a MBR like an FN-FAL, M1A1 or so along with the required normal cap. magazines. I left NJ about 19 years ago and dread going back to visit family. Not because of the family but the laws. Each time I leave NJ I take a deep breath of FREEDOM.

Pretty much anything black, eevil looking and hicap.

Armor piercing super cop killer nuclear explosive tip baby seeking ammo availability is a plus too. ;)

Maybe even something .50 might be good too.

Perhaps put one of those new RobArms XCR's on order.

How about a nice .22 pistol, missing out on some of the most fun in life without one. Cheap and fun.

Browning Buckmark
S&W 617
S&W 41 (little pricey)
Ruger Mark II
