What guns did you give for gifts?

Gave my father the Garand, I recently bought for myself. About 2 weks before Christmas.

I was looking over the gun when he came in the door. His eyes got big and he said, " I used to have one just like it." He showed me how to field strip it and reassembly.

He was handing it back to me with a smile on his face . I just told him, Merry Christmas Dad.

I got my wife a Franchi Alcione Titanium O/U 12 Gauge shotgun.

She got me a pair of Tanzanite and Diamond earrings.

Gave a youngster a M38 and 100 rounds of ammo for it. I barely know him, truth be told, but he's a good hard working kid. Last time I saw him he was waiting to buy an AR-15 clone and wanted to become a hunting guide someday. Dunno if he owned a gun or not, so I got him one.

Turns out he DID get that AR-15 (Bushmaster "Shorty") since I last saw him. Showed him how to tear apart that bolt for cleaning. That sucker was dirty!

Several gifts

I gave a friend a 1916, partially matched, elm stocked CG Swedish mauser. Surprised the pants off him (figuratively of course).

My brother received from my wife and me a Rem 870 express 12gauge. Now he can retire to occassional use our father's Winchester model 12.

I gave my wife a Smith and Wesson 3913LS LadySmith. She Ooohed and Aahed over this thing every time we walked past it for the last 9 months, and she wondered where I ever got the idea to buy it for her Yes, I know I'm trained well. I happen to like it that way.

My wife returned the favor to me with a S&W 624 (no dash) 3inch, round butt. Alas, it's not in the Lew Horton series, but boy does it ever feel nice I'm taking it to the range tomorrow.

WOW! That looks like my 760 Gamemaster slide action 30-06, but in like half-scale. Should be a very accurate little thing, if the barrel is free-floated like the larger sibling's...

I got my dad several Full-Auto and Supressed weapons for this XMas.

(In the form of Rainbow 6 and Ghost Recon games on the XBox I bought him!)

My mother, sister, wife, and I gave my dad a 4 inch blued security six for christmas. He had been looking for one for a stainless model for years and they just don't seem to turn up locally. So when I happened across a really good deal on the blued model I snatched it. It really was a shame when he stopped by the gun shop that weekend and it had already been sold . Needless to say he was surpised Christmas morning. We shot it a little today, and seems pretty accurate.

Not a Christmas gift, but I bought my grandmother a new .22 Single Six and leather rig for her 75th birthday this year.

She absolutle loved it!

I gave my best friend a Ruger 22/45 with a 5.5 in heavy barrel and Hi-Viz sight along with 500 rounds of Remington Target 22.

I figured he spent so much time shooting mine I should get him his own I think I upset his wife though, cause after I gave him the gun he didn't want to do anything other then go shooting.
