Well what did y'all get for gifts this year?

The in-laws surprised me with a Henry h001t (22lr lever with octogonal barrel). I think they are keepers. Borther in law got a 10/22 charger takedown. Need to find a local range to try them out as are in the gulf shores AL area (normal residence in central IL) for the next week.

My boys came home with their wives. Spending the week with us. That's all I needed. House of six, with one on the way, my golden, and a six month old black lab named Reilly.
Couldn't ask for more.

However, I'm thinking about picking up a S&W 617 this week. I've had an urge for a nice 22 revolver.

We got some much needed new living furniture after a weeklong search through so many furniture stores I lost count. I was so exhausted I bought myself a new Browning 20 gauge scatter gun :)

Oh yeah, got a call from my NFA dealer Christmas Eve saying my Sig MPX SBR is approved and I can come get it, thanks ATF :)
 
Parents got me a vibrating tumbler. And I gave myself an early present last week of an entirely new reloading setup, including turret press and Auto-drum measure. Now, once I can get some time away from work to actually use all my new toys, I'll be happy.

Nothing gun-related unless you count the Ring video doorbell I installed yesterday that will help guard the collection....
 
I got my wife a remote starter for her 2015 Subaru installed. Poor girl has to go to work and it is cold out there and hot in the summer. She loves it!
I got a Boker knife and am waiting on a conversion cylinder for my 44 Pietta 1858 Remington to show up in the mail this week.

Got all 3 young adult children home for Christmas, 1 from Minn, 1 from Calf.
Bought the wife a ring with a reset family Saphirre, I got plenty this past year and feel turkey blessed with family and health.

Couple of gift cards, a few boxes of ammo and a new Aimpoint PRO to mount on one of my ARs. Was a truly wonderful Christmas.
 
Gifts... a couple shirts and a calendar. Typical. I did get myself a new S&W Model 63 revolver.
 
It was my son's turn to fill my stocking so I got two boxes of .380 and a can of Rem-oil wipes along with candy and wool socks.

Ever since getting a Keltec PMR-30 in Spring, 2015, I have been looking for a laser sight for the under-barrel picatiney rail. The red ones are a little hard for me to see, esp. in daylight, so I've been looking for a green laser.

Gander Mt. opened a new store in late May, 2015, and then Academy Sports opens last month so I was hoping one of them might have a sale. After 18 months, Gander never did have a sale on the green lasers but Academy did and in their first month! I don't know about the quality of this unit so any feed back would be appreciated. It is an IProtec Q Series and Academy had it for half price (~$50) which is not only the lowest price I've seen on a green laser, it is the lowest I've seen on ANY laser.

Weather hasn't cooperated so I haven't had a chance to try it other than to shine it on a neighbor's house. We had a bit of trouble seeing the dot on the dark-colored brick of the house but it showed up well on the white garage door. This was late afternoon on a partly cloudy day and we were about 75-100' away from their house and it was to the west of where we were so we were looking into the sun and we could still see it.

Being single has its "advantages". ;)
 
I did a little early shopping for myself and bought parts to build an AR15 pistol. Still waiting on the upper parts.

Wife got me a m-lok handstop and an Inforce WML for said pistol build.

Also got some cleaning supplies. That's everything gun related that i received, I think I did alright...
 
Bought 40 acres to now have my own private shooting range. Sign the papers on Thursday. Sucks that it is winter and I cannot do much with it until spring. Lots to do but I am looking forward to it.
 
I got an ALG trigger for one of my AK's (going in the SBR) and some AR-15 parts. I just like getting together and seeing family so anything on top of that is icing on the cake.
 
Got a new Alien Gear holster for my Taurus pt111 g2 which is so much more comfortable than the Uncle Mike I was using, a new pair of high top work boots that I can wear year round which will be great for going out to the range, and a life straw for my bug out bag, plus time with the family. All in all a pretty great Christmas.
 
I had built an expensive AR project for myself, and a room full of furniture for Mrs farmer. We didn't spend much on each other.
A Nikon bdc scope, a Nikon 10x42 binos, a mtn bike, chairs for our blind, a bunch of under armour, small led flashlights, and an antler mount were under the tree for the boys 14829685458352047626245.jpg
