I guess I was raised to not go around bragging about what we had. My parents house got broken into twice when we lived in Houston in the 70's. They were always concerned the wrong people would hear. Old habits are hard to break. If you want to search around, you can probably find half my collection mentioned on this board. I just finished an inventory last weekend, but I think I will refrain from posting that.

I probably have more than I need, but not more than I want.

H&K USP .45 full size-- 2 10 rounders and 2 12 rounders.
S&W 586 .357 6"
Ruger Mk II bull barrel-- 2 10 rounders.

Ruger 10/22-- Various stock and banana mags. I'm going to get some Steel Lips for them soon, 2 25 rounders.
Marlin .32 Special lever gun

Remington 1100 12 gauge
Stevens 12 gauge pump

I thought that was Kittery.

That's what I thought when I saw that pic. I so miss that place. So many beautiful guns, all in one room. I bought my first AR-15 there. I've also sold a few guns there. Hmmm, I love KTP.

questions

coonan357 when did they stop making coonan's, i know they are rare; they look like 1911's but chambered in 357.

It's been a lean mean couple of months

Had to stop buying, had to let a bunch go, but it's hard to shower without water. But I know where most of them went, they will return when things improve.
So I'm down to about 3 dozen, plus a few I have wandering about with friends.
I'll never forget the father of a girl I used to go out with. When he found out I was into guns he offered to show me his collection of "a few pieces I've picked up here and there."
He was a college professor, very liberal minded, and admitted to never having fired a gun in his life. But he was a huge wild west fan. He took me to the back room of the house where three walls were absolutely covered with Winchester levers and Colt and Remington revolvers. Probably wasn't a piece in his whole collection worth under 4 figures. Kept going out with his daughter for months after I knew it was over, just to play with those guns.

^ Very nice setup there.

Everything I have is in my sig, with the exception of a couple airguns (Crosman 1077 and an old Crosman air pistol which I do not know the model of).

I was raised to not be ashamed of what I had worked hard for.

It is not a matter of being ashamed. Sorry you didn't pick up on what I meant.

Springfield 1911 45acp....3 mags
Springfield XD 9mm....3 mags
Glock 22 40SW....2 mags

AK-47.....1 mag

As soon as I get home
Springfield M1A Scout

More than I need, less than I want.

(I discovered that buying similar looking weapons is a plus. My wife can't tell the difference between a 686 and a 64, or between a 336 and an 1894, or between a Mk3 and a Mk4, etc., etc. Just so long as she doesn't see them all together in one group.)

Small, but growing collection.

*HK USP .45
*Firestar M45
*Colt Woodsman 2nd series .22 lr (my dad learned to shoot on this, I'm the 3rd generation to have it)
*Mosin Nagant 91/30 (shamlessly bubbu-ed)
*Springfield NM M1A
*Bushmaster AR 20" heavy barrel
*K31 (new to me, in the process of cleaning up the stock)

I have a want list that grows everytime I go into a store, gun show, or look at the internet. It's is quickly approaching epidemic proportions. Helluva disease we have here, huh? ;)
