What guns serve specific purposes for you?

HD: Kimber full size 1911, Remmy 870. + 1 shortened 12 ga single.

Plinking or varmint eradication:
Marlin 39a, Marlin 60, Ruger Blackhawk/.357.
9mm conversions for the XD and Blackhawk plus .22lr for the Kimber.

Sig P239 for carry and car (lighter and smaller).
Sig P229 w/ stout tactical light under barrel for nightstand drawer.
Both in 40 S&W w/ personal defense 165gr loads. Never a bad experience with Sig.

Backup gun (little harder to get to): S&W 629 6" 44 mag with 240 gr Hornady XTP and 24 gr H110.

Another backup (very hidden but reachable in a pinch): AR-15 clip w/ 20 rounds and the AR-15 in the gun cabinet, different room.

My blued Sig P232 is "back ache" gun. I have a deteriorated disc that bothers me greatly from time to time and wearing a belt and OWB holster then is aggrivating. During these times I switch to a shoulder holster and my lightweight little Sig.

Zombies: Del-Ton AR-15 middy and a Mossberg 590A, plus everything else I've got
