What guns serve specific purposes for you?

My current set-up(s):

IWB carry: H&K P2000sk 9mm w/ LEM trigger
pocket carry: Ruger LCP
night-stand: H&K USP .40 Compact (stainless)

I finally bought myself a real digital camera for Christmas, so I don't have to take pics with my iPhone anymore. It's a Canon PowerShot SD780is..nothing too crazy, but there are still so many things you can adjust! I'm still learning, but here are a couple of decent shots I took earlier of my USP.40c:





When I get a chance, I plan on cleaning all my guns for a nice photo shoot. I've been wanting to dress up my toys and take pictures of them so I can share with you guys!

Duty- sigpro in .357 no choice here issued
HD/traveling - Beretta 92 gotten after we swich from beretta to the sig love the beretta
off duty/back up- this where it's not so solid, normally a S&W 642 also have a NAA .22lr that I put in my pockect if working in the yard or just taking a walk down the street. Have also been know to wear the beretta but it not reallly made to concealed but I carry it sometimes when I have to go someplace that I feel the threat is more like before christmas and had to go to the mall with the wife

Well, lessee.....just doing handguns here, ;cause I have lots of shotguns from 20 gauge to 10 gauge and rifles from .22LR to 7mm rem mag mostly for hunting, but a couple do self defense duties, also.....

Taurus 66 3", Taurus 85SSUL, Kel Tec P11, NAA mini, Grendel P12....CCW

Rossi M68 3" .38 spl .... occasional CCW and outdoor .38 kit gun (very accurate)

Ruger P85 and P90...sometimes CCW, range, competition.

Taurus 4" M66, Ruger .45 Colt Blackhawk, Ruger .357 Blackhawk... outdoor/hunting/hiking

Ruger Mk II ....range/squirrel hunting

Phoenix Arms HP22....pocket kit gun (accurate for a pocket gun)

Rossi M511 sportsman....preferred kit gun and good small game/squirrel gun (very accurate)

You get the idea, I honestly try to learn which gun works the best for everything, I don't want to have to get different guns for everything. Maybe one day when I'm rich I'll change my mind. I would like a 6" 1911 10mm, a nice 4" Python, etc. But right now, I have no desire to carry or use anything other than what I've got.

I like that. All my guns have a purpose, but some can be used for multi-purpose. I have guns for self-protection, hunting, home protection, and Range and target shooting. Some are multi-purpose and some are designated for only one purpose, such as my CCW.

Of course, and I try to dream up other rolls, like (defensive carry if guns are outlawed (percussion .31)...yeah, I know, but I needed an excuse....:banghead:.

I have outdoor carries, CCW carries, hunting revolvers, hunting handgun (TC Contender), and just plain guns just because. I mean, I guess I don't REALLY need a reason, but it helps when I'm spending money. I'm so tight I squeak sometimes. But, if I weren't, I never could have gone into retirement at 51. While all those guys at the plant were buying fancy boats and fancy trucks, I was building a 401K.......what's left of it. :banghead:

But, as I get older, I'm learning that you can't take it with you. I'll start buying some REALLY nice stuff when I start gettin' my gubment checks. Or, maybe I should say, considering the state of the social security system....IF I start gettin' my gubment checks. :banghead:

Taurus 24/7 Pro C 9mm IWB (daily carry) will most likely change after I get the CZ 75B
Taurus .22 mag 8 shot UL in my coat pocket.
S&W mod. 14 .38 spec. carried in shoulder holster but not always. (it's in pretty good shape for an old '58 and I wanna keep it that way)
Bersa Thunder Del .380 acp
Kimber .45 and a few others just for fun. Hope all I ever need any of them for is fun at the range.
