I had a nylon holster kicking around that I wanted to use for my nightstand pistol -- a Glock 21. The holster was too big -- the pistol was just dropping through it -- so I thought I'd put a row of stitches in it to narrow it down. Couldn't find the sewing kit, so I punched a couple of holes with an awl and ran a small zip-tie through them. It works!

I too use a leaf blower to clean the interior of my truck. Not from necessity, but I can be pretty lazy sometimes (another driving factor for "jerry rigging"). I also use a leaf blower to clean my shop. Gets the lost used primers, spilled tumbling media, flakes of powder and dust out quickly.

I’m putting the finishing touches on a Jeep. Now is prime time to sell one and this thing has been a nightmare. Purrs like a kitten now. Just needs fender liners back in and a little bit of time with a water hose, but I’m just not feeling it. Allergies are wearing me out. The most creative I got today was putting a zip tie through the air vent on the work truck to use it as a cell phone holster holder. There’s always the weekend… I do have plans to build a 410 reloader.

you don’t want to know and I don’t want to tell

And we will leave it like that, moving on...
On the bright side, the sun came out today, right after the rain stopped and the temp dropped... Wanted to get to the range, but the wife found "the perfect whiskey barrel"... so no range time.
Man caves aren't what they used to be.

made my own powder drops. put a handle on a 38 auto cartridge, 380 auto, 9mm. & a 22lr. Weighed them and marked them, trimmed them to the nearest whole grain. Now I have four manual powder drops with whole grains. Etched them with what they will hold.
