My usual holster makers don’t list a holster for a TX22 . I am looking for a leather OWB holster . What are you using ?

The safety might make a difference in holsters . But the competition SCR is not what I asked about . The very first choice under TX22 page is the TX22 , what I asked about . As you can see they give you 4 different options to click , but the first one is a TX22 . The TX22 is not called the Compact , or Competition , or Competition SCR . I would have included compact or competition if that is what I had , but I don’t , I have a TX22 , that is a different model . I am sure any holster maker that makes a holster for the TX22 will make one for the different models of the pistol anyway .

I shot a friend's TX22 a few days ago and wasn't expecting much since I'm not a huge Taurus fan.
However, I was a bit surprised by how well this TX22 shot.
It was 100% reliable and surprisingly accurate.
Overall, it appears to be a decent pistol for the money.
My friend is looking for a decent leather holster as well. I'll post here if we're able to turn something up.

I've got a holster for mine but will have to look as I forgot what brand it is.

These guns are way more fun than they have a right to be. The TK +5 extensions work on all the magazines, compact, standard, 10rd or 16rd.

That!s what I told Mernickle when I called them . They asked for the pictures that I posted here and said that was their cross draw holster . I told them that they don’t know how to make a cross draw holster then . I just wanted to get other’s opinion . I am not happy with it or them .

I didn't know if it was supposed to be or not, I guess that makes my above post more objective. I'd be disappointed too. I know that Bob Mernickle sold the leather business and have no idea what has happened since.

The original Bruce Nelson #1 Professional (I'm not saying your Mernickle holster is related to the #1 Professional, I'm just commenting on cant), was a straight drop holster and designed to allow use as a cross draw holster. The current models of this type, straight drop models, such as the Milt Sparks 55BN can still be worn cross draw.

I know you axed about leather, but I have had amazing luck with this kydex one from ebay. I love the nice positive “snick” of pistol insertion.
