This is very true.If one is struggling with that in live fire, it won’t get better in dry fire UNLESS the dry fire is being used to focus on the grip.
Dry fire should be used to focus not only on the trigger, but also on one's grip...other wise it is pretty much wasted time. The unfortunate thing is that many folks weren't instructed in how to correct their grip except in Live Fire...that is a failure of instruction (by self or otherwise)
