What is you "Fun" gun choice?

My hideous Hi Point 45 carbine (stock photo - mine has a Cutts type compensator on it and a red dot) in atrocious “desert” camo is the most inexplicably fun gun. It’s silly really. But it’s so fun to shoot !

We always start out our weekly shooting with some drills using what we’re carrying then move onto just having some fun challenges. We’ll declare it 22 day if we don’t want to pick up brass, or shotgun day & set up the clay thrower, 32ACP day is always fun, 45 ACP day has the 1911’s out along with the Tommy gun that’s always a blast, had my Desert Eagle out last week blowing up milk jugs that always makes me smile, black powder day is always a blast shooting the blunderbuss, 12 gauge side by side pistol, & cap & balls. Probably 80% are fun guns with a few serious, specifically dedicated tools & they can be a lot of fun too.

It changes, sometimes day to day or week to week, time of year, you get the idea. A lot of times it a single action, maybe a lever rifle, or possibly a .22 something.

Right now I'm in the early stages of building what I hope will be a fun rifle, a budget 10/22 with few or no Ruger parts.

I will repeat what has already been said. All my guns are fun. Some more than others, but all are fun. The ones that aren’t get sold.
I must admit though, that I get the biggest grins from my 45 Colt revolvers.

Now this gun was bought purely for fun…and mush headed zombies…not really :D

I had it at the range today shredding paper. I set it up as a “cheek pistol”. I probably look like a total goof shooting it but it’s a lot of fun.

EDIT: This is what a cheek pistol is:

Whether fun or purposeful, the answer is the same for me. One of my Vz. 58's.
Secondary might be a Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55. As we all know, anything 6.5mm punches above its weight, without hurting your shoulder.

Nothing "fun" exceeds recoil of about 13-14 lbs to me, and that pushes it.

Hard to choose--they're all fun. I'm enjoying the new Bergara B14R at the moment, which has gotten me back into shooting .22 LR more regularly.

I thought it was my S&W MP 15-22. Until I bought a Ruger 10-22 Charger, added an SB-mini folding brace and a Franklin Binary trigger. Now that's fun with a capital F.[/QUOTE

I'll bet that burns through the ammo :)/QUOTE]

Let's just say I'm glad I'm still sitting on a few 525 boxes of Federal Champion purchased when they were $8something a box.:D Not sure if it will be as fun when I run out of that.:what:

Do you have a "Fun" gun? A gun that you maybe don't shoot all the time, might not make it in the vehicle everytime you go to the range, or the one you grab when you see that varmint or paper/steel bullseye, but whenever you fire it, it puts a smile on your face.

Center-fire or rimfire? Or......is there one of each?
Easy one - cowboys stuff. The ole .45 in 6 gun and lever action rifle.
