Favorite Pistol

My favorite pistol by far has to be my custom: SVI Pistol in 40 S&W. I'm a Competitive shooter IPSC/USPSA so of course this is my baby.

Also, .40 may be touted as "the most popular law enforcement caliber," but it seems not so much among average joes.

I carry a .40 every work-day, and no I'm not a LEO. I don't consider a .40 my "favorite" to shoot, but I'm carrying it for the compromise it represents regarding size/capacity/stopping power. It's just a tool. I "enjoy" shooting other calibers more than I 'enjoy" shooting a .40... Does that make sense?

I would have a really hard time picking just one.
Choosing my least favorite would be easy .32 Smith and Wesson.
Mainly because of the cheap pocket guns made for it.
If it were for concealed carry .45 ACP 1911 or Glock 30.
Hunting small game .22 Ruger Govt. MK II
Hunting big game .44 Magnum 629 six inch.
I usually suggest the .357 to new comers after learning basics on a .22
Reason being the obvious adaptability to many options from .38 WC to 158 grain soft point.
I am wondering what the 180 grain .357 would be like on large game, but won't be leaving my .44 in the safe by any means.
Well it is time to get offf the computer and join the real world.
Have a good day.

My favorite is my Ed Brown Special Forces. I carry it every day and shoot it weekly.

I hope I like mine as much as you like yours. It'll be here on Thursday ... a Special Forces Carry, stainless/stainless with black Gen III coating, night sights and the non-ambi safety.

:)

Let's not forget the rimfire! I love my Browning Buckmark almost as much as my center fires.

I own a custom Para Ordnance P14 45acp hicap lda double stack stainless steel 14+1rd magazines shoots like a dream and feels so nice in my hand i am going to engrave my initials and my wife initials on the frame and on the ivory grips that i am ordering soon
my next purchase would be ether Dan Wesson 10mm Razor or Glock 20 Sf 10mm? thanks.

I love my RIA 1911 GI, if you want to split hairs, it's the only "pistol" that I own. Other than the RIA, I love my Raging Bull 444B6, it's just too much fun.

My favorite only because it's weird. I love them all.
