Hey guy's I'm new here and just trying to get an idea of what kind of "Characters" I'm dealing with here!:scrutiny: Any way what kind of battle iron do you have? Mine are as follows FN FAL by DSA arms, HK94 9mm semi auto version of MP5, Springfield SAR-8 .308 version of the HK91, a Bushwhacker(Master) Flattop AR15 with 20" Bull Barrel and no household would be complete without an AK47 variant of which I have a pair of 'em!:D

Mini 14 and.....well?.....remington 870...I live in NYC and thats about as good as you can get as far as battle iron goes:D

Orion 7 Garand is my only REAL battle rifle. 7.62x39 AK, .223 custom AK on the way kind of qualify. HK91 clone in the near future.

Damn you Kobun! :D You keep teasing us Americans with that picture. :p

FALs, Imbel and L1a1, currently only one AR, Cav Arms/ASA HBAR, Vepr K.

AR-18
Spas-12
UZI 9mm
.45 Longslide with laser sighting

All are great for home defense.

I LOVE Battle Rifles!!!

M1 Garand (Springfield Armory)
M1 Carbine (Rockola)
Mauser 98k
1903-A3 (Remington)
Enfield No.4 Mk.1
Enfield Jungle Carbine
Mosin-Nagant M44 Carbine
Mauser Argentino M1891
Mannlicher Carcano M1941
SKS
Colt M16A1

And a whole bunch of semi- clones of the real thing.

Can we get a battle rifle definition in here? 9mm subgun lookalikes and 870's do not a battlerifle make.

M-1A NM
M-1Garand

Possible case for M-44 carbine and sported out Arisaka from times past.

The AR would make a favorite fighting rifle of what I own, it's just not a "battle rifle"

Lessee...

Mosin Nagant 91/30
Mosin Nagant M44
Enfield No4 Mk1
Turk M38 Mauser
1891 Argentine Mauser
SKS
Schmidt Rubin K31
Type 99 Arisaka
M1 Garand

I am owned by a Imbel "FrankenFal" and it demands care and feeding on a regular basis.

The only one I have is an AK.
I don't really shoot it as much as I shoot others, I just sort of own it out of principle.
I also own a couple of Mosin-Nagants, one 91/30 and one M-39. I like them.

No assault rifles, just the semi-auto kind. :(

No assault weapons either, that would be baaaad.

However...

Got more than a couple SKS of various flavors
Got more than a couple bolt action Battle Rifles: A couple M/39s, a couple Mosin-Nagant carbines, and soon an Enfield #4 I think a couple K31s and maybe a Mauser or two may be in my future
Got Garand
Got a couple boxes of FAL parts, but they're magically coming together into two of the most beautiful semi-automatic Battle Carbines I've ever layed my eyes on if I do say so myself. :D

I don't normaly answer questons like this, especially when asked by a new member. But...........what the heck.......

M1A National Match
M1A, mil spec

Colt AR15, preban HBAR heavy Target
Colt AR15 preban Collapsable Stock Carbine

Armalite M15A2 Carbine, with that cool green furniture
Armalite AR180B

BushmasterXM15 E2S shorty

US M1 Carbine

Ruger Mini-14

Bulgarian SA93 AK (Two of these)

Russian Tula Arsenal SKS (Two of these)

Thats about it now, had more, but sold some. Never wanted a HK or a FAL.

let's see...

Semi-Autos':
M-1 Carbine (Universal - hey, it's not issue, but it'll do for now)
Romanian SAR-1

Bolt-Action:
Mosin-Nagant M-44
Yugo M-48A Mauser
Arisaka Type 99
Swede M1938 Mauser
German Commission Gewehr 1888 (doesn't get shot though)
