What new guns do you expect to see next year

Almost every gun mentioned was for shooting someone and not hunting.

There must not be much hunting these days.

That's because you're stuck in an idea of hunting somewhere closer to the Eisenhower administration than today

For example look for all these rifles in 300blk to be extremely popular in the woods. Which IMO rsilvers needs to push that angle much more. It'll be the deer hunters who'll take this cartridge somewhere not the o.01% of folks with a suppressor

More of handguns with .22 conversion -- included in the kit

I hope that manufactures will start offer at reasonable prices (below 500) kits that include the gun (9 or .40 or 10) with .22 conversion kit included in the deal (and designed for the gun).

This whole cumbersome process of spending 300 bucks for a .22 conversion so that one can practice with cheaper ammo -- just does not make sense. And should be covered by business-savy, consumer oriented manufactures.

Kudos to EAA, SIG, Beretta, Kimber, CZ for making at least .22 conversion kits available -- but they are too expensive, and should be sold together with the main gun as a kit.

Shame on Glock, XD, FN, Taurus, HK for not making the .22 conversions available from the manufacture

Also hoping to see that TCM .22 by REA takes acceptance, and other companies build the guns and ammo for the TCM. Great idea -- hope it takes off.

Here is a list of some of the gun-related things I hope to see emerge this year, or at least in the near future.

1. A short, compact 30 caliber cartridge that is ballistically similar to the 308 Winchester.

2. More gun companies to come out with their own version of a revolver that is chambered for shotshells. Come on Ruger, its your turn. If you feel that the 410 has been beaten to death. Consider a 10 gauge revolver.

3. More tactical gear. Tactical toilet paper would be cool.

4. A short barrel shotgun with 75 points to attach things to. One could use one for a fishing reel. Then if that fish gets too agressive you have a quick solution.

5. A gun show about guys making silly things and attaching them to even sillier things. I want to see a 50BMG attached to one of those electric scooters used by the elderly.

I have more, but I don't want to take up too much space and time.:D

Pistol Caliber Carbine, full or car stock, Synthetic or Wood stock, ghost ring iron sights, using Sten or m3 mags, priced under $300, preferably under $250. Kinda thing Camp 9,
crossed with highpoint, with a little Sten/M3 inspiration...

Semi-auto Carbine, Chambered in 45LC/.410, removable Mags...enough said...

I'd like to see the M&P and XD(m)s chambered for 10mm and I'd like to see all the M&Ps, XD's, glocks, PX4s get chambered for 7.62x25 tokarev, preferably with full size double stacks and true compacts for CCW.

And some kind of Pistol Calibre carbine chambered for 10mm.

I would like to see a reasonably priced (500 or under) O/U shotgun with two triggers and a ejector that is good quality. I would also like to see five round semi-auto 308 non detachable magazine with a 18 inch barrel and a wood stock that goes all the way up the barrel but hopes are low for both.

Want or expect?

What I expect is another company making a revolver chambered for shotshells. Another mini-9mm pistol. And if there is anyone not making a 1911, they will try to start.

What I want is quite another matter. An American-made Olympic-grade target pistol would be welcome. A repro Remington 1858 revolver ready for world-class competition out of the box. Ditto for a flintlock duelling pistol. Something beyond the endless parade of Glocks, Sigs, 1911s, and clones.

I am guessing Springfield armory or Ruger will come out with some threaded pistols, for the NFA crowd, and I am still waiting on Glock to sell their .380 to civilians.

I would just like to see a .22 WMR topper for an EBR or the whole rifle under $600. P-dogs wouldnt stand a chance!

I would also like to see a carbine 9mm that takes FN mags, a PMR 30 to hit the shelf at the local LGS, and for the shooting industry to push for universal acceptance of CCW in all states.

I would like to see an AR upper in 22 TCM, with the performance to stop a gopher, opossom, coyote, wolf, or skunk in their tracks and not blow my eardrums out. I also would like it for target shooting too. I would also like to go out to Wyoming this year and shoot some prairie dogs!

I expect to see more 1911s, more sub-compact/pocket 9mm, more polymer revolvers, a plethora of .300 blackout uppers or complete ARs, and dozens of minor variations on existing production pistols offered as "new" models.

I want to see an American made side-bye-side for under $600, a 20ga-.22LR Combo gun thats affordable and accurate, more 9mm revolvers (polymer is acceptable), a complete AR for under $550 thats decent (everyone and their uncle makes one), and a gun friendly president.

I forgot, a .22 magnum upper for my ar. I know feeding issues could be a problem but it sounds so cool, with the new hornaday ammo too!
