What Obsolete Ammo you want to see made again?

7.65 Argentine. Norma is about the only source for hunting ammo. Those old rifles are so well made and just begging to be shot!

7.5 MAS is what I would like more of.

I would like 7.5 MAS (and the magazine chargers for it) to be more available.

Abominable No-man they advertise new manufacture FNM 7.5 MAS is Shotgun News. It is not questionable. It is new manufacture and Boxer primed. Shoots great in my MAS 36.

Another vote for 7.5 Swiss. GP11 ammo is spendy, FMJ and Berdan primed. Norma price is stratospheric. K-31's are way too fun to be safe queens.

+1. I was disappointed that the Wolf Gold was more expensive than GP11.

Sometimes They Come Back

No, I don't mean the cheesy TV horror movie from the 90's, but sometimes once obsolete ammunition does seem to come back from the dead.

Look at the .405 Winchester, as an example.
Some may say that. as a sporting round, the .30 Carbine was born dead, but it's still alive and kicking for whatever reason.
And, IIRC, the .38-55 disappeared for a number of years, only to be revived and it's still selling.
Also, what's the deal with .348 Winchester? Sometimes there's a run of it, sometimes not.

In my opinion, some obsolete ammunition is just too good to die. Sometimes what is old becomes new again.

id like to see some more of the 30-40 krag lever guns, i just think its a solid round. 10mm doesnt really count. A .41 long colt would be a fun exotic gun to shoot.

MCgunner,

Okay, I won't say Activ shotshells either, because this is a rifle forum. But if it werent...;)

I have a Remington 5mm rimfire, so you know what I desparately wish they would make.

300 savage for sure. Yeah its still being made by a couple of company's its hard to find. Whenever I ask clerks they just look at me in a blank stare and never hear of it. What a shame
