I need some .25 Stevens Rimfire !!! New manufactured for "shooting".

10mm all the way, it is an excellent handgun hunting cartridge, or large SMG/carbine cartridge, or target plinker.

I'm surprised that with the number of Mausers, Mosins and Enfields sold, that we're not seeing more 8mm, 7.62x54R or .303. I dunno if anybody makes 7.5x55, but that ranks up there too.

Then again, I'm really dreading the day when 7.62x54R surplus dries up and I get to pay 50 cents a round for Olympic... non-corrosive just ain't worth a 4x price increase to me.

86 winchester

I can't understand why somebdy hasn't made a run of .33WCF ammunition. There are so many model 86 Winchesters like mine out there in this exceptionally good caliber. It is ironic because 38-56, 38-72 and 40-82 are all available yet there are far less guns out there in these calibers than .33WCF! It all can be made from the same basic .45 caliber brass too. I had a bunch of factory ammo as well as brass I made up from 45-70, but all of it as well as my dies have been lost. Still have my rifle and it would be nice to shoot it sometime. Two years ago I was told the 86 was going to re-appear in .33 Winchester and a run of ammo also, but I guess that was bum dope.

.32 Winchester Special. Its still in production. I'd just like to see it go down in price so that its in line with .30-30 and not double the price.

7.62 Nagant would be another one that'd be nice to be able to buy cheap. My 1895 Nagant revolver is not happy with becoming a safe queen.

Sidshoemeaker -- I agree, the 33 WCF has enough of a calling to warrant store bought ammunition becoming a reality.

I've got two collector boxes full of 33WCF, an old Winchester and the other an equally old Remington. But at $100 a box, I won't be firing them off any too soon.

I reload using re-formed 45-70 cases, or when I can get them, Bertrom cases. The "Bertrom" cases are from Australia and are excellent. Now for bullets, as 33 win are no longer available even from Hornady, I've been using bullets for my 338 Win Mag. Same diameter bullet but they're pointed. Made a jig by drilling 10 holes in a block of wood - put ten pointed bullets in there and file the tips flat. Works like a hot damn. 220 gr or 225 gr, whatever is handy.

Would also like to see the 45-90 readily available as well. But they're most likely too busy making those short, fat little boogers to waste time with these old classics.

The 8x57 JRS is still available in Europe. I have a Raick Freres, Cape Rifle SXS in a two barrel set. The one set of barrels in 8x57 JRS. My friend brought me back two boxes -RWS, Dynamit Nobel (Teilmantel Rundkopf Geschoss) - what it says on the box ??

I forgot that one! The ammo is part of the reason why I dont buy 1 or a couple.

there is no profit in it, and it is a big headache to get all the machining, and specs , and bullets prepped and ready...
i would love it , if someone would make something current, rifle-wise, in 6.5 Arisaka, such a great round, imagine if you will , a mild mannered 3030, firing the 6.5 round...
