It's not the specific pistol because I enjoy all my handguns, but I enjoy more the Zen act of being able to pick up one of my handguns, load it & put everything together & hit my targets as I intend.
I'd say my HK P7M8. It's my favorite gun to shoot and I can have fun just taking it apart and marveling at the complexity of the mechanisms under the grips!
For me it's definitely my P220.......one of my favorite activities is to go to the local indoor range with a friend who shoots his Walther P22. He's extremely accurate, generally knocking the crap out of the 10 ring (which he covers with a "Shoot-N-C" target. Once he's fired his mag, I step up and proceed to eliminate the entire center of the target with the .45. Man is that fun!!!
Walther P99 in 9mm was my first handgun. I would try all kinds of 9mm ammo on this handgun but it would not stop from jaming. I sold it a week later, and I got myself a Springfield compact .45acp and how sweet it is. With never one problem with my Springfield .45acp, I found Springfield new XD-40. It's my first 40sw I've owned what a killer handgun.
