What powder drop for Classic Turret?

I'd go Uniflow if you can. I had a Lee Turret with Auto drum and despised it. Couldn't get it to throw consistent and it leaked all over. My experience seems to be in the minority though

I am also happy with my Lee Auto Drum as seen here:
https://leeprecision.com/auto-drum-powder-measure.html
I also installed the Lee Auto-Disc Powder Measure Riser to give me more room when adjusting dies as seen here:

And I am happy with my RCBS Uniflow powder dropthis set-up like this:

I use the RCBS Uniflow with the small drum and RCBS UNIFLOW Powder Measure Adjustment Screw on my Lee Classic Turret by installing the UNIVERSAL Perfect Powder Measure Adapter as seen here:

RCBS UNIFLOW Powder Measure Adjustment Screw as seen here: (If you are going to get a RCBS UNIFLOW Powder Measure Adjustment Screw be sure to read the fitment information CAREFULLY!)

I've used and have both the disk and drum. Bothe work fine, and I have never leaked powder from either. I prefer the drum due to the adjustability vs finding the right disk. They are reasonably priced you could buy a few of them and leave them on the turrets that you use most.

They don't look to be the best, but I've used mine since they first came out and others discussed them here. Mine is very consistent and so far so good.

A kit of drum inserts is available. I believe mine was two regular and two large, with the large including adapters to scale them down to regular volume. I have never used my autodrum as an adjustable measure. I have dedicated drums for powder measurements I expect to use again.

I spill a bit of the finer powders, but the autodisk works fine and especially with the adjustable charge bar. I think the answer was covered well in post #2. Finer powders leak less in the autodrum.

I fought my Autodisk, especially with the double disk set up a lot. Always leaking, sure, but also locking up on powder fouling too. I used it for a lot of years, but it really was one of my least favorite, barely tolerable bits of kit. Alternatively, the Autodrum does a very nice job. I'm a little concerned with the integrity of the cast body, as I've seen some guys report cracks, but other than that watch out, I'm just as happy with the Adrum as I am with a Uniflow or the Hornady measure.

I have one of the autodisk upgrade kits with the cylindrical hopper. That hopper has a wiper on the bottom and leaks less with the finer powders. AA#9 and Enforcer can leave quite a dusting for me. I don't like that at all, but it is not a deal breaker. I think it is important for the turret measure to be lightweight and compact, so Lee this or Lee that. I also share the concern about the casting of the autodrum but so far, so good.

Love my drum. I also have the drum kit with the extra drums and have them adjusted and marked for my different calibers. My disk leaks so I quit using it.

I smashed my Autodisks with a hammer.

The Autodrum isn’t the measure the Uniflow is, but it’s very good for its price. It’s certainly not derived from the Perfect Powder Measure, other than both are drum type measures... I also smashed my PPM... The Autodrum, I don’t mind recommending as a budget option. The disk or PPM, well, I’d feel more honest recommending you pay someone to kick you in the nuts.

Do you know any good nut kickers in the midwest area? LOL, seriously, for the little money, autodrum is well worth it. I have used a lot of Lee stuff over the years, it can usually be made to work well if you are willing to fiddle with it. The autodrum is a lot less fiddly than my pro powder disc was.

Another vote for the auto-drum. I like it so much, I now have a couple of toolheads for my Dillon 550 with the auto-drum measure installed. I made my own fail-safe linkage instead of using the chain.

Pro autodisk here, with the double disk sets. I've only been loading about 5 years so I only have the cylindrical ones and I don't find them leaking. Wouldn't use anything else with the powders I primarily use (CFE Pistol, Win 231, Trailboss)

^ I think this is an important point. Lee has sold at least a couple of different things as the Auto-Disk drop over the years. Those of us who came along after the switch to the cylindrical hopper may have had different experiences than those with the older, rectangular hopper design. My A-Disk leaks a tiny bit with AA#2, which is about the most leak-prone powder imaginable, but otherwise doesn't seem to. But the Auto-Drum is better for most applications, and if I were only picking one today, it would be the Drum.
