The SP101 has been my most-carried weapon since the late 1990s, as a secondary weapon while in police uniform, and primary or secondary off the clock. Actually, as I own several of them, there have been times I carried two or even three at the same time. These wear their factory grips. Two have been lightly customized by Jack Weigand, with his Tame the Beast package, but not ported. (Jack Weigand no longer does custom 'smithing, but Gemini Customs still does this type of work.)
My next-most carried revolver is my 4" S&W Model 19. As much as I like custom wooden stocks, this is a working sixgun, and wears quite plain-Jane Uncle Mike's rubber boot grips.
When I want to carry heavy iron, I have several GP100 sixguns, all wearing the original, pre-Hogue factory Ruger grips, which seem to have been designed by a long-lost twin, from whom I was separated at birth.
As for posting photos here, even though one of my job titles is photographer, and I take digital photos that are used as evidence in court, I am totally ignorant of how to make digital images appear on-line. The proprietary upload
system I use at work, for digital image evidence, is totally different from anything used in the "civilian" context, and such things as image hosting are total mysteries to me.
