What supplies do you want?

Small rifle primers.
I bought a crap load of large rifle and pistol primers last time when they eventually went back on sale and there was no buy limit.
You can still buy primers on gun broker if you really want to pay 10 to 13 cents each for them, not including shipping.
I don't need them that bad.

Small pistol magnum primers. I think I have enough of everything else for a while. Seems like you can still order boolits if you don't mind waiting. Though the box of 44mag I ordered from eXtreme got here pretty quickly.

I'm just wondering how long the primer shortage will last for.

I am good on everything (I have been stocking up since the 2013 scare) but will always take more SPP's. I can still find bullets and have seen powder around if you are flexible. A friend works at Bass Pro. I asked him if he could pick me up some SP primers the next time they got in a shipment. He was able to get 500 for me ($25 after tax). This was a month ago. I asked if he could get more last week and he said no. They are under allocation and have not gotten in any in several weeks.

I've had the opportunity to be in several Bass Pro stores in last few days, sure matches what I've seen, or rather not seen

Might try to round up some rifle bullets. I'm low on some of my favorites like 243, 6.5 and 30 cal Accubonds, but I have enough to get me through this year. As far as brass, powder and primers, I'm good.

I am new to reloading and bullet casting. I happen to have a fair amount of lead. I have heard of several sources of lead, wheel weights, plumbers, etc. How often do folks just purchase their lead from a vendor? Is that reasonable or cost effective? Thanks.

Primers and lead to cast bullets with. I have plenty of powder and quite a few rifle projectiles, but most of my pistol loading is cast lead.

Primers, I've realized I can go thru 100-200 of them in a day and an hour's worth of shooting. Next time I make an order for primers, I'm buying 10k small pistol, 10k small pistol mag, and 10k large pistol. Oh, and all CCI because the way Federal packs their primers is a huge waste of space.

Alliant powders. I guess they're really popular because you can't find them anywhere. Unique, Bullseye, Red Dot, all gone. I may be giving up on Bullseye tho as I bought 4lbs of Titegroup instead and with Unique, I mostly use that in .45 revolvers, but if True Blue or 700-X that I recently bought does well, I may just use them from now on.

I also want bullets, specifically Berry's bullets. I'll be buying 500 or 1000 bullets of each style I want as soon as possible.

Ain't that the truth! And they are so dang soft that seating them leaves a indention on them. I am good with CCI & Winchester. I have my first box of Remington to try now due to the Plandemic.

Am in good shape on all components but would like another 1,000 or so LRP (Fed 210M) for prairie dogging next spring. I do need some bullets though. I shoot 45 gr Sierra varminters and cannot find any of those at all.

pistol primers

sadly, I have heard from a few dealers that it may be 1 year as most primers that arrive here are being used to make EXPENSIVE ammo

I think I am squared away here. Did run into an Academy and bought 400 209 primers because I was down to about 200. But don't shoot as much shotgun.

I have also been placing bullet orders at the beginning of each month. 1k or 2 at a time. When I do this the backorder doesn't bother me because I have had outstanding orders and incoming bullets since March/April. Primers......im more than good. My supply far out paces the rate that I shoot these days. Time.....its all about the time.

I read some people saw "this" coming. I started planning for today 25 years ago. I AM NOT A PREPPER but Dayum... I had about 18k in primers and 75 pounds of powder with (only 4 or 5k bullets) back in Feb. and so I've been lucky with finding bullets. Back in the 1990's I was buying 7.62 from Dan's Ammo (1280 round cases) for $169.00 Shipped to my door. I like all the AR-15 folks but 5.56 is just not my choice. Here's part of the problem, Every Time we have a Hickup on ammo or components the PRICE GOES UP! Last week the guy at the range said he sold 3 boxes (50) .380 for $186.00. I haven't checked lately but .223 was bringing $1.25 a round. We are nearing the first Zombie Attack, as we get closer prices will continue to go up. I'm loading about 3x more than what I was and shooting very little.

Really, the only thing I need to restock is LR primers. I blew through a bunch of them the past 3 years and I wasn't paying attention to how low my stock became. I have plenty of other fixin's... for now.

...and a pound of TAC. I really, really want to try it... but, boy howdy, I can't find it anywhere.

I have been picking up bullets as I go... granted, there are some I can't get now (like .30-30 JSP's) but bullets are out there, you just have to be patient. My next bonus I was going to take about $2000 and restock a bunch of stuff all at once... a few 8#ers of powder, a few cases of primers, and some bullets... but, well, you snooze you lose.

I've been posting WTT here for LR primers... and I've thought about doing it with some powders I have.

I know 3 suppliers that haven't seen any primers since February.
I was just pondering this yesterday. Are the LGSs getting re-supplied, or are they SOL, with all the current supply going to the big boys that had contracts in place?

I'm set for primers, except for small rifle, but I can probably trade for those. I'm set for powder, as well. Only thing I'd really like is some 30-06 brass to feed the Garand. I'd have to check, but I probably have only 100 rounds, or so.

If you are looking for pistol bullets, check out RMR. At least they are allowing back orders and I have confidence they will deliver, sooner or later.

As for primers, all bets are off. If you are willing to pay 15-20 cpr, you can probably get them on GunBroker.
