My pro2000 does about 10 rounds for every one I do on the rock chucker. The key is the pro2000 is auto-indexing so I can crank the rounds faster. My bench time in front of the press is about the same though.

Mr. Eick, you could not have been more right. I started on a single stage too and still use it for match rifle/hunting loads. But for plinking ammo, both rifle and pistol, I use a Pro 2000 auto index.

Mr Eick, BTW, thank you for your report you wrote on your Pro 2000 at the 150,000 round mark. It convinced me to get the Pro 2000 over a Dillon. Im glad I read your report first. My Pro is a great press.

I voted turret ,but do case prep on an Orange Crusher & final steps on a T-Mag for handgun.

For rifle it`s a `73 model Rock Chucker

I use single stage and progressives about equally.

Volume for one or two pistol calibers that I shoot a lot of - a progressive.

Eveything else . . . rifles, the pistol calibers I shoot less - a single stage.
