Two years without a post to the tread and then BOOM! It comes back to life like a Mummy in an old movie:neener:

For me a Verona shotgun for $225 from a guy who bought it to go hog hunting with. It was two years old and had never been fired.

I bought a "Wal-mart" .22 rifle about 6 years ago for $69, of course i had just had some surgery, and was HEAVILY medicated at the time. I don't think that i have ever even opened the box. Maybe i will some day.:banghead:

Cheap = least expensive. S&W M&P .38 Spl w.bulged barrel $15.00. Shot fine

Cheap = POS. Spanish .25 Auto of some unknown make. Would only fire about every 4th time.

Mossberg 144 LSA $15. Boy Scout Camp auction: Canoe, Chevy S10, Mossberg for a total of $230. Not a bad price for a canoe and carrier. Not a handgun, but still fair rifle for the price.

A Brand Nex Phoenix Arms HP-22 for me and I only paid 69 dollars for it.

Even got a box of ammo (50 count :D ) and a little nylon holster for it too.

It's a fun little gun to plink with.

A Clerke 1st .22. Gave $5 for it back in '73 or '74. Still feel like I got ripped off. Odd thing is, I still have it!

Wasn't fit for shooting so I found another use for it:

65 bucks for a Davis Derringer in .22LR in the 90's. Never had a failure to fire with it. Trigger was awful, but for $65 I ain't complainin'.

from a good friend

$50 for a Beretta jetfire minx .22 short. Had a few issues with it and sold it a year later for 125$.

A High Standard "Longhorn Convertible" in .22LR for $75.00

This thing is a total tackdriver!

The only bummer about it is that I don't have the .22Mag cylinder and the DA pull is fairly crappy but the SA is mighty fine.

The least expensive relative to the value today was a NIB 2.5" Colt Diamondback 22 revolver for $400. (I felt like bragging. :)) The cheapest gun I ever bought was a Mossberg 22 rifle for about $50. Oops... handgun... H&R 999 for about $75.

Got 3 for free, inherited them 2 colts and a smith....

In retrospect, they maybe the most expensive ones..... They were my first, and now I'm running out of room in my safe......

CHEAPEST

A WELL WORN BUT NOT ABUSED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 15 .38 SPECIAL WITH 4' BARREL IN 2002. IT WAS MY DUTY GUN FOR A FEW MONTHS WHEN I WORKED AS A BOSTON SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER IN BOSTON. I PAID $80.00 FOR IT ALONG WITH A LEAD SAP AND NYLON IN THE PANTS HOLSTER FOR LARGE AUTOS. WHY CAN’T WE ALL COME ACROSS MORE DEALS LIKE THIS? OH I KNOW......WE WOULD ALL HAVE TRIPLE THE NUMBER OF PEICES WE HAVE NOW! - MAC

Thompson/Center Contender. 1983. . . . 10" .357 magnum barrel. NEW!

$125.00!!!!!
I asked the owner what he wanted for it. He didn't have one in stock. He didn't take me seriously and said, "Uhhhh. . . I can get you one for $125."

I pulled the cash outta my pocket so fast, it shocked the crap out of him.
He stood by his word!!!!!

Fast forward back to the mid seventies.........A well worn but functional Tok for either 30 or 35 dollars. I only had it for about a week...Essex

there are three I got for the same price. A raven in 22 lr, a Iver Johnson in 32 S&W and a copy of a lone eagle pistol in 7-08. They were all free!

I don't consider it cheap quality wise, but I purchased an in-expensive S&W 5906 from Mark at summit gunbroker. $275. Cleaned it up and ran 400 rounds of mixed ammo through it, 3 FTF on the last 15 round mag... it was plenty dirty at that point.
